From the Scottish mountains to the French Alps.

The Montane Women's Yarara 32 Backpack is your go-to for mountain adventures. The main body's constructed from Raptor Honeycomb fabric, which is tough yet exceptionally lightweight, and it features a DWR coating for water-and tear-resistance. Molded to the female form, the Comfort Back Pad features channels that wick sweat and rainwater away whilst giving additional ventilation, and two top shoulder straps allow the pack weight to pull close to your body and control pack stability over varied terrain. The dual ice axe loops and walking pole system enables tools to be stored upright as well as upside down, while a variety of internal and external pockets allow for neat organization of your gear. It also includes drawcords that can be affixed to front loops for additional storage space along the front of the pack.

Not for long day hikes w/ heavier gear

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this pack for a day hike to summit Mount St. Helens. To be honest, I will not use this pack next time as I couldn't adjust it to fit my shoulders and hits very well. My back hurt really bad by the time we finished the hike. I will use this pack for day hikes that are not as strenuous and require less gear.
