Inspired by life above the high alpine, far beyond where the imagination can carry you, the Montane 2441cu in Fast Alpine 40 Backpack is designed to provide technical support throughout the duration of your adventure. Ideal for mountaineering, climbing, and all of the specialized scrambles in-between, the Fast Alpine is outfitted with a myriad of climbing-friendly features ranging from its harness and hydration system compatible design to the removable Alpine bivy Mat (which doubles as back padding when you need it the most).

Unique to the Montane product line is the hardy Raptor RS and Raptor UTL fabric, which offers paramount protection from sharp rocks and its water-resistant treatment keeps light precipitation at bay. Not to mention, the pack is lined with the water-resistant and rugged Halo fabric that serves as an additional safeguard from wayward elements. And thanks to its athlete-tested generous compartments, various gear loops, and climbing tool attachment points, the pack is equipped to handle any variety of terrain that you throw at it. However, should your journey require you to shave off some extra weight, the padded hip belt is removable while the webbing waist belt maintains a stability-oriented and comfortable fit. In regards to its support system, the Fast Alpine is designed with the lightweight Comfort Climb Back Pad and VertErgo Climb system which makes carrying hefty loads a breeze. The multiple tension adjustment and compression straps encourage a fine-tuned, stabilized fit and easily compress the bag when its contents are in use.
