Fish will eat scuds regardless of season or hatch, and depend on it for a good protein source year-round. As such, you should probably have a few of the Montana Fly Company's 12-pack of Scuds in your flybox at all times. Scud like to skitter along the bottom, so fish it low and watch the fish come check it out.
