Nice and warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Extra large
  • Height: 5'11"
  • Weight: 200lbs

Extra large was a perfect fit and the warmth was everything I hoped for.

Arms too short

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 5'9"
  • Weight: 163lbs

I'm 5,9. 163lbs got a medium all fit pretty well, except the arms were quite short and restricted movement while raising arms up. Too bad, it's a super nice piece would have liked to keep it. The sizing chart said nothing about sleeve length. That might have been helpful.

Reliable

I bought this for commercial crabbing a couple years back, and it has since become my favorite sweater. It's a bit heavier than it looks, but for the reliability of being wool, I find it worth it to take along backpacking.

    Warm and soft

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Med
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 170lbs

I go for the med and it is a bit loose on me and I like it that way didn't want a super tight performance fit in this casual style. The Kodiak hoodie is 100% merino and the inside is brushed to help add warmth via additional loft (fleece like feel) on the interior. The Minus33 Hoodie also has thumb loops which I like. One down side, I don't like hood cords so I pulled mine out. All in all, it is just a great piece for cool weather!!

    Fix your size chart

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Overall it seems like a great hoody. The wool feels nice against the skin and the outside looks / feels durable. I am a hoody person and am growing tired of wearing out my cotton hoodies year after year and looking for something a little more durable and warmer for a winter hoody. This sweater seems like it fits the bill. As for sizing, Minus 33 could at least put a sleeve length on their chart. I took the large based off of the chest measurement. I am normally a large to XL depending on brand and the type of garment and how I like it to fit. If I could, I would try on the XL but the large fit me well enough to not send back. I am 6'0" and 205lbs with a broad build and long armspan.

    Kodiak Expedition Full-Zip Hoodie

Minus33 was founded on the notion of creating high quality performance garments for the active outdoor community at a price people can afford.

I am 5’9 150lb,what size should i choose?I had a marmot rain jacket size medium.

I would go with a Med. but it probably will be a little loose on you. I think a small would be a bit to snug. I am 5'10" and 168 and I wear a med and it "fitted" but I am really between a med and large, so you are most likely a true med. Hope this helps!
