    Cheers one for one.

The ample 64oz MiiR Growler offers you the most charitable way to transport your beverages. While the Growler features more than a day’s worth of insulating capabilities and a convenient pouring top with easy access, MiiR also includes an “impact bracelet” with each purchase, which allows you to track the implementation of an actual water project that's designed to provide clean water to one person for one year. One Growler equals one project and a benevolent way to say cheers.

Now you can be both lazy and hydrated

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Why walk all the way to the office water cooler every time your puny water bottle runs dry, when you can just fill this bad boy up once in the morning and stay hydrated all day long! It's a little annoying to carry around, so definitely meant for more sedentary activities. Probably works great with beer, too, but I haven't tested that, yet.

Looks the look and adequate for the job

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Let's be honest. Part of buying an insulated growler is that they are cool (not just temperature cool). This one fits the bill with the retro flip lid, the shape and color. The first one of these I bought was defective (the vacuum had been breached, but the replacement is working as it should). I'll give it a pass because manufacturing defects happen. I compared this growler to a Hydroflask 64oz and have feedback to share.

Qualitative Impressions: Aesthetics go to the Miir. I love how it looks, and it got a couple of compliments the first time I took it to the brewery. It also has an easier to clean lid, which will hold unwanted flavors to a lesser extent than the Hydro Flask. The Miir's gasket can be easily removed from the lid and cleaned. The Miir pours better, but it harder to drink directly from the bottle than the Hydroflask.

Quantitative: I did a test comparing the two vessels with the same volume (1180mL) of boiling water and measuring their temperatures over time. (Sorry no control, and this was conducted in my house at room temperature.) My findings are as follows:
    Time (initial) HF: 90c Miir:91c
    Time(1hour): HF:84.5c Miir:84c
    Time(2hour): HF81c Miir:79.5c
    Time(3hour15min) HF77.5c Miir74c
    Time(10hour20min) HF61c Miir54c

So there you have it. The HF is the better insulator. I ultimately decided that the Miir does a good enough job for my needs and am keeping it. I believe the Miir loses most of its heat through the un-insulated metal cap--it was noticeably hot during this test compared to the HF cap which was just warm.

Perfect for those long road trips to keep things hot or cold
(Beer) Haha jk Maybe but love the finish of the growler and the lid!

    Almost up to par

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this to a good friend who loves his beers and this is what he had to say:

A very good growler, keeps the beer colder than just a glass for sure. Maybe not the best of vacuum growlers, but I purchased this to cycling and it works great with the cage for my purpose.

    A whole new 64oz world.

This thing is amazing. This will keep hots hot and colds cold and I mean it. I filled this about half way with ice and the rest with water and left it in my car, it still had ice in it literally 3 days later. I love the clamp valve closing mechanism it really does it's job well. High quality, very durable growler.

The only complaint I might have about this growler would be that the closing mechanism is slightly loud when it seals against the hard body of the growler (not a big deal at all) and for some people this might be a little heavy to take on a backpacking day hike which is not what I use it for so for me this thing is great.

      An Excellent Piece of Gear

This holds 64 oz. of water or whatever beverage you decide to carry with it. Judge based on your own experiences how long that will last you, as it differs person-to-person. That said, this holds a serious amount of fluid.

      EASE OF USE:

The hinged opening on top is perfectly done. It's easy to open and close, and the seal is excellent.

The vacuum insulated bottle is very good at maintaining both temperature and carbonation (if you're carrying something bubbly). The top is what you might expect from something that is aiming to look stylish, but the practicality of it is also notable.

This is a very well made product. I see no flaws whatsoever, and the design is so simple, I can't imagine that any of the components will break with use. The all-steel construction is somewhat heavy, but absolutely bombproof.

I use this daily to carry either water or kombucha, and it rarely leaves my side. I can confidently stuff it into a backpack without worry of spillage, and the fact that it doesn't sweat is a huge bonus. I have had this for roughly one month now, but I have experienced a variety of situations with it, including a couple drops, and it definitely stands up to the test.

If you need a growler (mind you that's different than a huge water bottle), then get a Miir. They are a cut above without a doubt, and after experiencing the simplicity and quality of this product, I'm convinced that all others are simply gimmicks.

      This thing is Unreal

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It is deceivingly big, and would be somewhat of a waste to bring on a multi day backpacking trip as you'd have to carry a giant metal brick out with you. I've mostly used it to bring cold beer up on the mountain with me to drink in the lodge. Once concern I had was that the beer would overfoam after being shaken around from skiing, but after 6 hours on the hill it was still cold and carbonated, not too foamy.

Perfect companion for my hiking trip!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love this thing. I was initially attracted to the gorgeous blue color, and the prospect of cold beer during an upcoming hike. It was an impulse buy, but I am so glad I did it. The cap is a little funny to figure out, but after fiddling with it a bit it will become more intuitive.

I recently brought this growler along on its maiden hiking trip. We were concerned that after being shook and held in our arms for so long up this mountain, that it would leak carbonation and warm up. When we finally reached the top, we were greeted with delicious, cold carbonated beer. We drank most of it that night, and then in the morning opened it up again to see if it was still carbonated and finish it off. It was fairly flat at that point, but it was still cold at least. Well done miir!!

Does the bike cage and mount (that is shown in the pictures) come with the growler? If it is not included, is it available?

Hello Josh. The mount does not come with the bottle. That being said it is available to purchase from Miir Directly. They have it listed on their site. If you need anything you can contact me at
