    Great Stuff

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is some really great tape, probably the best kind of tape. It does what tape does and works real well. Easy to tear a strip off, make some tape gloves, isn't expensive, not too sticky, but also not crap.

    It's a wonderful tape.

    Good Tape

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Metolius makes rockin' products (pun intended), and this tape is no exception. Sticky and strong, I use it to make impromptu crack climbing gloves/protect my tendons when they're not feeling up to holding my body up for hours on end.

Simple and inexpensive - a great addition to any rack.

    Best Desert Climbing Tape

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This stuff sticks, but isn't too sticky - it grips, but isn't too grippy. It's cheap and awesome for any sharp desert or granite climbing endeavors. I have two rolls of this stuff in my climbing bag at all times.

    Best Desert Climbing Tape

    Keep a roll everywhere

I have rolls of this tape everywhere for anything from taping a hurt finger to making tape gloves for cracks to just marking my gear. It's great and cheap and does what it's supposed to

      climbing tape

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This stuff is tape. It comes in a roll, it's easy to rip and best of all it sticks to your hands. This tape is sticky and even comes with instruction on how to make tape gloves. Wow that's cool, make sure you buy a goes quick.

      This stuff STICKS

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After trying a few other options I landed on this tape and it is great. Sticky sticky sticky. No problems with it coming off. As others have stated it also works great for applications other than just taping your hands. No reason not to have it!

      Must have

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I just started climbing again and I was feeling it in my hands for sure! Just starting to toughen up that skin again and this tape has been great for taping up my fingers. You could use it for anything!! It's just nice to have

      First Aid Duct Tape

A must have in every gym bag, crag bag, camping kit, vehicle, home, everywhere. Have used it for countless fixes far more than just body related. Just get plenty, and stash everywhere. Always a great thing to have handy when you need it, and awful to not have when you need it. Stock up.

        Climbing Tape

Like the title says, I use this for climbing. I have tried to use athletic tape before from a section in target and it fell off instantly and didn't stick. Maybe the chalk threw it for a challenge. But whenever I use this tape, it stays on. Relatively easy to tear so you don't need scissors to cut it into pieces that will work. Carry it with me wherever I go climbing.

          It is a Must

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Yes it's just tape, but it is a must in your climbing bag! There is always need for it, whether it is to tape your fingers, fix something that breaks, make a stick clip, tape your ankle that you just rolled, or anything that can happen to you while you are out climbing! This tape is great too! It is sticky and stays on whatever you use it on!

          a real blessing

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My dad was a ball coach so I grew up in a house where athletic tape was a staple. This also meant that for the longest time I looked no further than the rolls of Mueller tape at the local sporting goods store. I was in college when I first came in contact with "European style" tapes, which is strong yet forgiving allowing for increased mobility yet still offering the necessary support expected of a tape job. This exceptionally pliable tape will dramatically decrease the occurrence of bothersome tape cuts. Also where creases and ridges can ruin a tape job with traditional athletic tape this style is much more forgiving.
