Nice shoes
I just purchased these shoes today. They are very comfortable and super breathable. I am using these for when I go on my cruise as hiking and water shoes. My only complaint is that the black on the shoes is already worn and the color has faded. Haven’t had these shoes for 24 hours

Great for multiterrain hikes
The perfect shoe I was looking for to hike Havasupai! They are sturdy enough to withstand currents and rocky terrain. The laces are different, although easy to manage. I tightened them and then knotted them so they stayed at my desired fit. Otherwise I’m sure you can cut and take off the black piece to make regular laces. Highly recommend for amphibious adventures!

I Love Wearing The Wildwood!
I like everything about the Wildwood Aerosport—color, fabrics, style, laces, and comfort. I have twice purchased Merrell waterproof-leather hiking boot to wear in fall and winter and they haven’t disappointed me. I think I’ll be able to say the same about the Wildwood.

Great shoe
I bought these for summer walks on the city trails, wanted lots of air flow for the hot humid days, and other reviews indicated that they were perfect for those conditions. Very comfortable, not too tight, the shoe allows lots of toe movement and fits true to my size 8.5. Soles thick enough to give enough support, and not too chunky. Only I chose to use regular laces in them and removed the elastic tie closure, the laces give me added stability and support.

Love these!
I tried these on and even took them home for a day. Love the mesh and would have loved them for the summer. Alas, too narrow for my bunions!regrettably took them back. Really wish they came in wide!

Great shoe for the warmer months!
Mesh shoes! So different, but think they will be great for the summer. And of course they are Merrels so no break in time needed. Great arch support.

Why not real laces?
I live in Texas where summers are hot. These will be perfect for my daily walk. I have a long narrow foot and these have just the right amount of toe space without being too wide. My only complaint is the lacing system. Once they are pulled snug there is too much dangling down and I have to weave it thru the lacing. I also feel that it is just a matter of time before they break. This is the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars.

Good shoe mediocre laces
Comfortable with excellent ventilation. The shoes laces were terrible and had to be replaced.
