A bit narrow in the ball
This is a solid shoe with an all-weather sole, waterproof - but feels a bit narrow across the ball of the foot, as compared to other Merrells I've owned. Next time I'll order this in Wide.

The perfectly magical balance for off road!
Trekking Smugglers Notch VT in March. Perfect balance of comfort, support, grip, warmth, and style! Love these Moab’s. They finally brought them back after a years long break, a thousand thank you’s.

These smell terrible! Near zero breathability!
I love this shoe and it should be 5 stars. It looks great and was insanely comfortable on day one. Exactly what I was looking for. However, it absolutely does not breath. Within the first 2 or so hours of wearing the shoe, I could already smell it. This was December in Virginia, so we're talking 45 degrees. They're currently my everyday shoe. Over the last 30 days, I've put just shy of 6 miles on them each day or about 180 miles. I wear them for about 10 hours like any normal shoe. From a smell perspective, this is without question the worst shoe I've ever owned. I wear Darn Tough and Smartwool socks but it doesn't matter. I previously wore Merrell's Freeweel 2 (awesome shoe), Salmon's XA Pro, various Sperry shoes, Garmont, and combat boots all day long. My feet have never smelled anywhere near as bad; like different person with zero hygiene bad. It's only a matter of time before my wife makes me stop wearing them. This is exactly why I deliberately did not buy the Gore-Tex version. Super disappointed.

Comfortable Shoe

Best shoes ever...please keep in production!
I've been wearing these great looking & great fitting shoes for a couple of weeks...so nice. Get a pair or few !!! Hopefully design won't change or get cheaper somehow...right now they are great :) Size is true and nice comfy landing. Thanks Merrell Also: I'm waiting for more colors like Dark Earth or Black/Blue

Great shoes!
Simply put, these are the best shoes I’ve ever owned! They’ve been with me all over the world, hiking trails and exploring cities, sometimes walking over 30 miles a day and they never let me down! They’re also nice enough to wear out to dinner after a full day exploring. My feet feel good at the end of the day when I wear these. Not for especially technical hiking, but they can do a lot. Keep them waxed and they’ll last a long time!

Back for more!
This is my second pair. I bought the first pair for hiking but found them so comfortable I wore them almost every day. After several years of near constant wear, they're looking a little rough for work, so time for another pair. These are great for light hiking and general wear.

Great shoe!!
Bought them for our trip to New Zealand. I wore them a few days at work to break them in before we left. They required little break in and were very comfortable from the first second I put them on. Provided great support walking and hiking and didn't get wet although we only had some rain on few of the days.
