My go to for hiking!
My go to shoe for hiking! I used these shoes for my PCT hike and they didn’t disappoint. I used the wide width and the foot box was perfect. These held up to some of the most rugged terrain I’ve ever hiked. Over 750 miles of Washington and Oregon no blisters. I did use Fox River sock liners and Darn Tough socks as well.

Most comfortable hiking boot regardless of price!
These boots are comfortable out of the box. The large toe box makes these boots the only boots I can wear comfortably.

Daily work wear + Camping events
I wear these as my work shoes and weekend camping shoes. I get the support I need to work on my feet all day in challenging environments, and the ventilation to keep my feet from sweating. They last about two years of daily wear, plus about 4 - 5 camping trips a year. They get me through Burning Man and regional forest events as my only shoes there. I usually wear a women's 9W, but the Men's 7.5W seems to have a little more room in the footbed, which I appreciate.

I understand why spec ops prefers this shoe.
The most comfortable shoe on the market. Fits perfect and makes working on concrete all day bearable.

14 states & still hiking!
Love my Merrell Moab 2 Ventilators in wide width. I've been buying Merrell for years, These are the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever worn, and it's almost impossible to wear them out. I'm hoping the casual shoe line includes more wide width options for us big foot folks in the future.

For fishing
Haven't put them to the test as we live up north. But feel great and can't wait to see how they work next summer. I have 13 screw's a plate and fused heal, I actually got these to wear fishing. Standing up and working a trolling motor for eight plus hours i need support and ventilation.

My hiking boots have never been to work with me.
I have a pair of these boots specific for Almost every one of my favorite activities. A pair for hiking , a pair for camping, a pair for daily use, a pair for working. I also have a fresh pair barely broken in for the day I ruin one of my broken in pairs. Now I have a pair with composite toes for work.

Wet feet
A little too wide but still a good boot. I tried “the other guy’s boot” and I will not mention their name. My feet were getting wet after about 4 months. Not a good boot at all for surveying. Maybe for putting on once in a while for a weekend hike but not for my profession.
