I got my Merrell boots on March 22, 2019. As of today, December 30, 2020, they are no longer waterproof. I am so disappointed. The boots are too stiff. It’s difficult to feel the grip of the surface under your feet. Is it granite? Is it sandstone? Is it shale? I have no idea. I wouldn’t trust these boots to keep me safe on Angel’s Landing or even Canyon Overlook at Zion. So, instead of stepping on rocks to cross a creek, I just wade through the water. These shoes would be good for trekking in heavy brush on flat land with no water present. But if that were the case, I might as well buy waterproof snake hunting boots. I haven’t put these boots through the wringer, but I have hiked in them almost daily in the wet season in Southern California.

I usually wear a size 7.5-8. I went ahead and tried some sizes before purchasing and I ended up getting a size 7.0. It's a good wide fit boot and super comfortable. I will definitely be taking these to my trip to Wyoming and pretty stoked about all my adventures. So far, have not felt uncomfortable or any weird blistering. I just have to wear them out a little bit to make it easier to take on or off.

I'm always afraid to buy shoes online due to my shoe sizing being different with all companies. I'm typically a size 7(boots/flat shoes) but sized up to an 8 in these since I'm a 7.5 in sneakers. They fit perfect! They have enough room at the front width wise for when your feet swell it won't hurt. I also have a low arch and most boots bother my feet. Not these, they were comfortable for the entire hike which was roughly 7 miles. I got the dark brown and pink ones, they look great. They're not full waterproof but since I'm not hiking often these will be fine for the price. They really are great boots for the price.

These are a fantastic shoe. Made well and my friends and family own and love theirs (hence why I got them). However - I did return mine. They didn't support my foot arch as much as I would have liked and I noticed that when taking steps my ankles would tend to roll inward. You can tell it's an awesome hiking boot, but just not made for my weird feet.

Really good quality, nice color, and seems like they would hold up well hiking in all weather. I will have to return these unfortunately since they are a bit too small, and my toes are at the top of the shoe. I am normally always a 10 in all shoe sizes but will need to return for a size 10.5.

These are my third pair of Moab's & I am never going back! The Merrell's fit my feet like a glove and only get better as they are worn in. I love the arch support and ankle support they provide on the trail. These are my first pair of waterproof Moab's & while they seem slightly less breathable, they have been great in water. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves hiking!
