Horrible! Cause blisters/rub skin off
Stay away from this model of shoe each time kid has worn for less than 30 Minutes and her skin is rubbing off just horrible total waste of money

Ok, but wouldn't purchase again
We liked these shoes a lot at first. My son loves the color changing and that they match his little brother's shoes. The soles are sunstantial and grippy, but still flexible to great for adventures. He has been wearing them a few weeks now though and the issues are showing. The velcro strap is a little long and it curls easily so it gets caught on stuff and comes unvelcroed. We went on a short hike to a waterfall last weekend and he ended up with a blister on the middle inside of the bottom of his foot where there is a seam. If it would have been a longer hike, he would have also had blisters on his heals because they were getting red. They take a pretty long time to dry also which I think contributed to the chafing and blisters. His little brothers has the same shoe in the little kid style and we like it much better. Less seams, simpler design, and thicker velcro strap.

Blisters
I really wanted these to work for summer camp! But the way the seams came together gave my son big blisters in his arches on both feet.

To narrow caused blisters
I liked them but had to return them because they gave my daughter blisters on the bottoms of her foot.

Would not recommend.
The "color changing" feature worked once. The tongue design is weird and doesn't stay put when my 7yo is active. I love Merrell shoes, but these have been a real disappointment.

Had potential
These resulted in a quick blister on the inner arch of my sons foot after 15 minutes. The fabric seem may be a little too raised. Too bad because I love all Merrell products but can’t see how we can use them again.

My kiddo's poor ankles
These shoes made my kid's ankles bleed. The stitching and placement of the exterior label that says "Marrell" is too rigid in comparison to the soft edge of the shoe. Ordered a pair for my son as well and the stitching on the interior is bad in one of the shoes causing a sore on his arch. It looks like they won't qualify for any sort of return and I do not want an exchange. Very disappointed.

Watch the size, runs big
Great shoe, but runs big. I bought my 12 year old a size 6 and it fit me. I wear size 8 in Merrill’s and they are the only shoe I like to wear. I ordered a size 4 and they fit my daughter. Great shoe. I have even cycled in them.

Great shoe at first
Show was great at first but after a few time wearing them to summer camp the shoes gave my daughter blisters on the back, top and side of the foot. Had high hopes but was disappointed.
