Shoes fit well but are a tad snug in the width
I normally wear size 6 shoe. My feet are small and narrow with high arches. I ordered the recommended 1/2 size up (i.e., 6.5) with medium width. The shoes fit like a glove- not too tight in toe - just right. I think if you do not have small feet, you might find these shoes too small- order the wide. But I like them so far and will keep them.

Decent shoe
Comfortable and mostly waterproof (unless wet grass goes above the waterproof bottom portion, water will enter through the top mesh). Don't love the laces, but they work well enough.

Great shoe...for a while
I had this shoe for about 9mos and now can no longer wear . Fit was good, color ( green) was good but now it's as if the material that makes up the footed has collapsed and also I did not wear these every day either. They still look great, it's the body of the shoe that's no good now 😕

Merrells do Iceland
My new Merrells went to Iceland and they were an excellent choice for all the hiking over rugged terrain: lava rock, black sand, etc. And for the volcanic glacier tour I wore my Merrell hiking boots !!

Wet grass, dry feet
I wanted a pair of sneakers I could walk through wet grass in and not get wet feet. After 4 wet walks, still dry.

Great shoe
Comfortable, supportive. Can walk a lot around city streets- I’ve done this a lot more than hiking trails but good for trails, too! I got the black ones and switched the laces for black for a little less sporty look. I wear them with casual clothes and feel like they don’t take away from my efforts to be chic!
