Comfy, super cute - my all time favorite boot!
I’ve had mine for a year, I walk in the woods, wore them in caves and they are so cute I like them for my regular shoes too, so much so that I bought a second pristine pair I wear when I’m not on the trails. I found mine to be very comfortable- I wear orthotics in my running shoes but didn’t need them in these. I had no issues with blisters or rubbing of any sort. After wearing in rockier areas while on vacation, the toe of the boot started wearing through the top of the vegan leather which is a bummer, and they look irreparable scuffed. My rubber sole at the toes also started loosening a bit too. I’ve put a lot of miles on them tho! My favorite hiking shoe of all time.

Can’t wear them. Made poorly.
The curve of the shoe rubs the back of heel. Tried cotton balls, inserts and anything to make them wearable. The last two Merrell purchases have been total failures.

Not the most comfortable
Stiff, not the most comfortable! After walking only a couple of miles, they'd cut into the backs of my ankles (blisters/bleeding). Def recommend wearing with longer, thicker socks! Nice-looking with jeans, though!

Stay away from Blister City boots…Ouch!
Cute but extremely uncomfortable and cause blisters. Worst shoes or boots I’ve ever bought!

Misleading
What is the deal? I bought these “hikers” to use as a light hiking shoe, but the heel is LIFTED! I wear only flat shoes with good arches and insoles. When I tried this boot on, it felt like a high heel. It is hidden inside and there is nothing in the description or picture of the item that would let the customer know that it is a lifted heel. The foot with the boot on was more than an inch higher than the other foot! It will play havoc with my bad knee so I have to go to the hassle and return them.

Just not Merrill quality
I am a huge Merrill fan, i loved these boots when i saw them, Unfortunately they are very low quality. Im soo disappointed that the green color is peeling off and the rubber coming off toe.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned!
Oh my gosh this is my favorite shoe. IT IS KEY THAT YOU SIZE UP HALF A SIZE!!!!! I experienced similar issues with pain and the lace holders digging into my foot when I ordered a 6.5...but they were so cute I couldn't give up. I reordered in a size 7 and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. So comfortable that I now have a total of 6 pairs of these so that I can continue to wear them as the years go on. I have terrible foot pain that I can't get rid of but with these I have stood at multiple concerts for 4+ hours with zero foot pain. I also wear them walking around NYC all day with zero foot pain. They are a miracle shoe for me! I have not experienced them falling apart but you guys please understand these are CITY HIKERS....these shoes are NOT for actual hiking and are not built for it!! To Merrell - please never stop making this shoe, I'm obsessed. The black with the blue laces is my favorite it's so gorgeous I have 4 pairs in that color!! 😍
