A solid shoe!
Bought these shoes for my dad. My dad is a fan of merrells and he says these shoes are very comfortable and have a good solid grip on the bottom.

I have the orange and green ones. At the time I write this review they are without a doubt the most beautiful pair of sneakers I currently own. Even the bottom grip is beautiful! The grip is the best I currently have, the only other sneaker I have had with a better grip is the Salomon Snowboards XA Pro 3D CS WP Trail Running Shoe - Men's. They are slightly narrow/tight but after wearing them a few times they have loosened up a bit in the arch area. I plan to purchase more Merrell sneakers thanks to these.
Update one year later 10/21/16: I just received these in the 3 other colors. I liked them so much that I did not mind paying the full price for each of the 3 pairs. They were the last ones in stock and I did not want to regret not getting them. Surprisingly the blue ones look way better in person than in the picture. They gray that these 3 other ones are mixed with make them look very interesting. I will definitely be ordering more Merrell's going forward.
