Yksion Pro UST Tire
What makes Mavic's road tubeless package so spectacular is how easy it is to set up and how well it works on the road. To achieve this, Mavic developed the rim and tire in unison, ensuring that the fit is just right with very tight controls over the bead diameters and the Kevlar beads stretch just enough for easier mounting. So when the time comes to replace your tires, we highly recommend sticking with the original equipment Yksion Pro UST Tire and we're happy to report that they work quite well on other brand's rims as well.
The Yksion UST tire is quite light and possesses some very low rolling resistance without impacting its grip. By eliminating the friction between the tire and inner tube, the tire can roll much faster and the setup with 30g of sealant is lighter than most clincher tire and tube setups. And, since you can get away with less pressure and not have to worry about a pinch flat, you can enjoy increased traction and comfort. The other crucial component of its roll fast/grip hard equation is its 11 Storm compound sitting on top of its supple 127 TPI casing. Lastly, to ensure that the tire can hold up to the day to day abuse of training, Mavic specs a nylon breaker under the tread that runs from bead to bead. Choose between 700x25mm or 700x28mm.

Magic UST Great be careful with tubeless
- I've put it through the wringer
These came on my Canyon Aeroad with Mavic Comete Pro Wheelset 25 front and rear. Came set up with tubes which I ran for about a month and loved once I dialed the pressure in. Decided to run tubeless for the rest of the season I was worried but had no issues not one flat 1700 miles. Supple ride excellent grip and fast. Next season went with 28 on the back which smoothed out the ride even more. Got my first flat, on new 25 front, small slit started spewing sealant thought it would seal but didnât, added more spun the wheel used cartridge to inflate but the Stans just kept coming out making a mess. Finally sealed but could only inflate about 50% with last c02 was a long sticky ride home. Donât ride tubeless any more not worth the risk.

These tires suck!
- I've used it several times
These tires came with a bike I purchased. THREE FLATS over a period of 2 weeks running tubeless. A massive cut in the tire wall - back tire is ruined. Not worth the price or the effort. I've been riding over a year on different tires and never had a problem. The two holes that were not in the tire wall were too large to be sealed up by sealant which really ruined my ride. Extremely disappointed. If I could return these tires I would.
