Gone are the days of trying to stuff beefy, lugged mountain bike shoes into shoe covers built for minimalist road kicks. The Mavic Crossmax Thermo Shoe Covers are designed with a more open sole and hook-and-loop strap adjustment to accommodate varying outsole lug profiles, so they pair with your favorite pair of dirt-shredding shoes. Made from warm, durable, and water-resistant fabrics with reflectivity to increase visibility in low-light conditions, these shoe covers will keep your feet dry and toasty through snowy winter trail adventures.

- Q & A
Do not buy
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
These shoe covers fit poorly and provide no insulation. They provide little coverage of the actual shoe. I wore them on a mild day by Minnesota standards (40 degrees), and I could feel the wind and cold going right through them. I wish I had never worn them so that I could return them!
Size chart wrong/difficult to get on
- Fit: Runs small

- Height: 5'6"

I have a 10.5 womens (or 43-1/3) Mavic Crosstide shoe. According to the size chart the Large was the proper size cover to order. It wasn't even remotely close. I returned the Large and ordered XL. I was able to get it on my shoe, but it took 20 minutes at home in my comfortable office chair. I can't imagine how difficult it would have been sitting on a curb or in my car. The problem seems to be the bottom rubber type material. It is a continuous piece that doesn't open at the zipper and doesn't stretch. The rear zipper comes down just above this section of the cover. I can say that these shoe covers are, however, attractive and the quality of materials seems pretty good. Not sure how they would hold up, though, with the wrestling match that would occur every time I would be trying to get them on my shoes. Will probably return them.
