    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I travel all over the world, and I was looking for a daypack to take with me so I can always get out and hike. The Beast works for me- easy to pack into my check luggage, holds the essentials and then some, and is comfortable. I've had this thing with me through Europe, Asia and two dozen States and have yet to have a complaint. Great daypack!

    A beast!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've taken this backpack through Torres del Paine, up to the base of fitz roy, all over arches national park, up to Angel's landing in zion, all the way up the via Ferrata to trolltunga, ben nevis in Scotland, ben lomond in New Zealand, I dont go anywhere without it, it packs small so it is easy to take everywhere, and you can cram so much Inside the pack, water resistant, I liked it so much I even bought another one just in case they stop making them

    Big Fan

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Always loved the look and design of the Matador packs but was uncertain on the function. Got this one for some global travel as my onsight pack for all excursions - its great..functional pockets, carries a lot for how light it is. Rolls up and stashes when not in use but up to the task when loaded
