Xenon Sleeping Bag
From the high alpine of the Absaroka Range to the meandering paths of New Hampshire's Mount Washington, the Marmot Women's Xenon 15 Degree Down Sleeping Bag is designed to maximize warmth without weighing you down. Fashioned with a women-specific composition, the Xenon is equipped with additional insulation in strategic areas (ones where women most frequently lose heat) and sports a 15-degree rating that makes it ideal for early spring wanders through Moab or a late fall trip to Acadia National Park.
Constructed with a lightweight Pertex material, the Xenon features 800-fill down insulation that assures furnace-like warmth when temperatures dip below comfortably cool. Marmot utilized curved baffles to prevent the insulation from shifting around as you sleep. Additionally, the bag is outfitted with a Down Defender treatment, which provides extra protection from light moisture. And thanks to the anatomically-correct footbed and nautilus-inspired hood and draft tube, the Xenon is able to maximize thermal efficiency. Should things start to heat up a little bit, the two-way side zippers allow easy-peasy ventilation. The bag comes fully furnished with an internal stash pocket, drawcord for the hood, and hang loops. And, stuff and storage sacks are included, which makes taking care of your bag far easier than that time you decided to adopt a hamster and it promptly went missing.

Great all around bag
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
This is a great three season bag for most camping conditions. My sister wanted something warm enough for the spring and fall, but not uncomfortable in the summer since that’s when she does most of her camping, and this was perfect. And she loved the color!

- I've used it several times
I took this sleeping bag to my backpacking/camping trip to Escalante. The low's got down only to the low 40's, and this sleeping bag kept me so insanely warm...almost too warm. I usually run hot when I sleep, so I slept with this sleeping bag unzipped with no tent and was so so warm! The two sided zippers on this bag are a really nice feature if you don't like the mummy style and want to breathe a little bit. It's also a very lightweight compressible bag, perfect for backpacking! Another small cool feature is the zipper- it glows in the dark so you can find it easily! This is definitely a good winter bag, I can see it keeping you comfortable down into the 20's, as long as you have a good insulated pad and sleep in thin base layers. I would definitely recommend!

Love my sleeping bag
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I took the sleeping bag to the Sierras expecting 25-30 degree weather, we ended having great 40 degree weather instead. This bag is almost too warm, but I'm not complaining. I usually have to sleep with heavy wool base layers, hand warmers, and my jacket. With this sleeping bag however, I was able to sleep in just shorts and a tank top, as soon as I got it, it was instantly warm, loved it. It is very soft, highly compressible and light weight. Can't wait to take it to other backpacking trips. My only complain was how it was shipped. It arrived in its mesh storage bag without any plastic protection, not happy about that, fortunately, the sprinklers didn't get to it.
