Very comfortable and warm up to freezing temperature. Lower temps require a layer underneath. Had these pants tested in 18 degrees, walking an unstoppable dog for 2 hours. Can feel the wind, but warm and comfortable, enough stretch without sagging or ballooning at the knees. Usually wear 32 or 34, got 32, fit is great. Not long. No regrets, bought a second pair. An update, now that the winter is over, GREAT pants! Not super warm to stand still for an hour, when the temp is in low 20s, but very good for brisk walking. They shed water. Will let some wind gusts through, but also will let extra heat out.

I returned this product before using it

Bought and returned, green color is much darker and closer to brown than what's pictured also runs kind of large in the waist, I returned before using but otherwise pants felt great like they'd work really well as warm insulated winter or late fall hiking/climbing pants, snowshoeing, etc. If I were to reorder id size down at least 1 size maybe even 2
