Incredibly warm

It is very lightweight but incredibly warm. Glad I bought a medium, they run slightly roomy.

Definitely Not Unisex

Ladies! This jacket is marked as unisex, it most definitely is not. For a given hip size, the shoulders are comically large; this jacket is really just built to be a men's jacket. However, it is a beautiful jacket and seems very warm, I would love to see an actual women's version.

Nice job Marmot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid winter performer. No worries about being on exposed high peaks ridges Summits. Handles the coldest NH White mountain winter backpacking. Could it be made better by making the interior pockets, larger and a bit beefier zipper, sure, but now we’re getting picky. Love the generous cut, fits well over other layers when backpacking at elevation during this cold nights eating a late dinner and chilling with some hot cocoa before bed! A true puffy to rule them all. Have the Mt Tyndall puffy which is awesome, hard to beat it but you did, better shell and warm cube cuddles around you like little pillows of warmth.

A cocoon of warmth and comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket this year because I’m moving to Iowa. I did a lot of research into jackets that could withstand Iowa’s coldest of winters and discovered warmcube. It’s got to be the warmest jacket I’ve ever worn. It just immediately begins to heat you up with the little warmcube tufts that use your own body heat to keep you warm. I want to get all of the warmcube jackets down the line and they’re definitely worth the price point. I feel like this would save my life in Iowa in a winter storm if I got locked out of my house or car somehow. I will always keep this with me when I’m out of the house in the winter.

Ultra warm and very durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This parka is extremely warm, fits well, and is surprisingly durable. I recently fell hard on the New York City streets, while riding a Onewheel, and wearing this parka. Not only did it keep me warm at subzero temperatures, but it prevented injury thanks to the synthetic passing, and did it all without a scratch. I’m very pleased with my purchase, and would make it again

Exellent cold-weather jacket

Light and warm, not too bulky considering the warmth it provides.

This is the real deal for MN winters

Came just in time for the polar vortex that broke off and brought -10F weather to MN. This jacket was downright toasty. I was just wearing a long sleeve tshirt underneath and was completely warm. Sizing is right on par with being able to layer a sweater if you need it. It was great at keeping out the wind too. We had 40 mph winds and I couldn’t feel any wind penetrating. The only knock I have on the parka is the hood. It’s sized for a helmet and it is too big. It would be better if the hood could be cinched down but the buckle on the back really doesn’t do much. A drawstring on the front would go a long way towards improving that. The zipper is finicky like other reviews have mentioned- even without gloves getting ready to go outside.

Just O.K.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hood needs to be redesigned, zipper too. There's no drawstring for the hood, so it can't be gathered in any way, and it's way too big. Also, the zipper is way too small; it should be much larger for extra use/abuse. Also, the XXL is small and tight in the arms... it needs another inch or two in the width within the arm socket. I end up collapsing the down when I stick my arms into the coat which shouldn't happen. I'm comparing it to an earlier Marmot coat that is properly designed.
