Good tent but..

I’ve been using my Tungsten 2UL for three seasons now, mainly for multi day hiking on the west coast. Overall I am really happy with the tent but just wanted to leave a couple improvements for Marmot. One is the foot print is not a perfect rectangle. It’s narrower at the “feet” end by a few inches. I can find it frustrating to have to make sure I have the right footprint, tent and fly all facing the right way. For the few ounces, making it a perfect rectangle would ease setup, especially in the dark. Second, a few tie off points at the head and feet end of the fly would be appreciated, especially where I’m hiking in the PNW to keep the rain off the tent. All in all, this is a really good tent. I hope these small changes would make it the absolute best tent on the market.

Tungsten ul2

Great tent. Price was right. The poly fly was the reason i pulledthe trigger along with the weight.

Decent lightweight tent but misses the mark

Small footprint/width. Confirm 2 thermarest Neo Air sleeping pads do NOT fit on the floor of this tent without heavily pressing on the sides making it difficult to open/close door zippers. The inner side pockets are poorly deigned and items easily fall out of them. only one small "attic" pocket.

Great backpacking tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic tent, easy setup, and its lighter then my old tent. Took it backpacking in Scotland and didn't have any issues. It got pretty windy and the tent held up well. We didn't get any rain while here (surprisingly) so I'll be interested to see how it does with rain in the future

Nice, but large and bulky when packed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tent is nice in general. Lightweight and seems to be good quality. Although there is one thing that really annoys me: size when packed. When looking for a light tent you are probably looking for an easy tent to carry as weel. And those tent poles are large and not straight. (56 cm is a lot to fit anywhere). And it's also bulky when packed. A better tent bag could help on packing.

Great Ultralight tent 🏕️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 2-person Tungsten Ultralight tent in 2020 and used it on an 8 day packrafting trip. Slept 2 people comfortably. I love ❤️ this little lightweight tent.

ENDURED ENTIRE A.T.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hiked the AT in 2020 with this (plus ground cloth). Stood up to everything a 6 month thru hike could throw at me. Dry and warm every night. Not one complaint. Not one problem. Still using it three years later.

Top of the class, and roomier than the rest.

The Tungsten Ultarlight 2P absolutely delivers on all that's promised. Fantastically light, but still holds up against the elements in the warmer months. The footprint and headroom are also bigger then comparible 2P tents, providing a space that is properly comfortable for two people. The only detractor for this tent, is the length of the poles when folded. For an ultralight setup, the pole length still requires a larger pack, and this also limits the tent's utility for activities such as bikepacking.
