Exceeded expectation

Perfect for bikepacking, light weight and super packable. So much better than my old tent.

Great in a Downpour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I got to use this tent was in a serious downpour that hit Black Moshannon State Park. I was there for a class on tracking for search and rescue. While this wasn't really a backpacking trip, I was obviously impressed by the weight. This little tent kept me dry all night. The vestibule area was big enough for me to put my Helinox chair with some gear on it. Gear and chair stayed dry as well. I love this tent!

Perfect lightweight waterproof tent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is ultralightweight, waterproof, and comfortable. I even managed to squeeze a friend in it once. I don’t recommend doing that 😉 But I’ve used this tent in multiple national parks, through all sorts of weather and I couldn’t be happier!

Light and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is simple, light, and easy to set up. I used it on a 4 night backpacking trip and it was great. It packs small and kept my pack light. The bivy door had plenty of space for my pack and gear, and the tent felt spacious when inside. My only complaint is that even with a Tyvex footprint, I ended up getting a hole in the floor material. It is ultralight material, so I tried to be careful with it, so keep that in mind, you need be careful to keep the tent from getting too beat up.

best tent for sleeping on the floor in the woods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tent! Got it to replace an aging non-UL Tungsten 1p. The overall size/dimensions are a perfect balance between small/light pack-ability, but some actual livability (the poles fit in the frame bag on my size Large Karate Monkey too!) Given how poorly I sleep when I camp these days, it's fun to have a nice place to hang out while I spend most of the night wide awake. Plenty of room in the vestibule as well for making coffee-in-bed, or whatever else. On top of that, Marmot offers it in a spicy, yet subtle colorway that tips the scale from tolerable to full-on enjoyable! I'll likely also snag the 2p version for times when my partner wants to join. This is one of those rare products that truly checks all the boxes.

Tungsten Ultralight 1-Person Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tent is so light that the shipping carton felt empty! I can't wait to try it out on my next backpacking trip.

Very good 1 person tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out my new Tungsten UL 1 person tent on a 10-day canoe trip. It was easy to pack and carry. Set up is very easy. The size is good with plenty of headroom. All of my gear fit in the vestibule. I left the fly off one evening and had a good view of the stars through the netting. The door opens easily and provides plenty of room for setting up your pad and sleeping bag. We only had one 20 minute rain shower and everything stayed dry. No problem with condensation on dewy mornings. I left off one star because I haven’t used it enough to judge the durability.

Used it on the hundred mile wilderness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent was great just the right size for one person fits perfectly in any nook or cranny and is very waterproof. It is as light as it gets for a free-standing tent allowing you to place it anywhere there is no soil to use tent pegs. From a cliff face to a ledge (most of Maine). On top of this the color makes it almost in visible to the passerby.

Great lite weight and compact tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this for a recent backpacking trip and it was perfect! Light weight and it held up to down pouring rain. I stayed nice and dry and cozy in this tent. I’ll be taking it to Isle Royale National Park this week and I’m sure it will be perfect

500+ Miles Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get this tent back in stock! Here’s what I love about this UL 1P: - relatively light weight. For a fully freestanding tent it hits the mark. - can be set up in the tiniest of flat areas - weather/wind proof, ability to guy out for added security - doesn’t sag when wet - spacious for a 1p - inexpensive for a ultralight tent. I got mine with a footprint for under $300. - durable I’ve done the JMT, Rae Lakes Loop 2x’s, 2 Grand Canyon trips and this tent is still holding up strong. No visible signs of wear and tear. The thing I love most is confidently knowing that it will stand up to whatever Mother Nature throws at you! Love this tent!
