    Stay toasty.

Staying warm in frigid winter conditions is always a challenge, with icy winds and sub-freezing temperatures threatening to steal your precious body heat. Making your alpine climbing and ski touring experience more enjoyable, the Marmot Men's Tullus Down Jacket brings you 600-fill down insulation within an easy-packing design. The polyester ripstop shell retains lightweight efficiency, with a DWR treatment for moisture-shedding protection from light rain and snow showers. Marmot's Down Defender prevents damp, moisture-laden air and oncoming precipitation from compromising the down's heat-trapping abilities. In fact, Marmot claims this treatment allows down to remain dry for ten times longer and maintain 150 percent more loft than untreated down.

    • Fiery-warm down jacket for frigid resort days
    • 600-fill down insulation traps precious heat
    • Regular fit offers easy mobility and layering
    • Down Defender prevents moisture from compromising loft
    • Zippered handwarmer pockets keep frozen digits warm

Great jacket! I took this with me on a recent trek in Nepal. Super warm and packable. Made for a great pillow as well.

Love Marmot but this coat leaks down feather more than any other jacket I've owned. Cleaning up after myself with each use...

    Excellent quality and warmth

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium

First Marmot - can instantly tell the difference in quality above north face and columbia. Very warm, yet packs light. I am atheletic build 5'10 190lbs and size medium was perfect, so runs large.

I got this coat to replace my Marmot Zeus that I have used to death and patched with duct tape. I am 5'9'' 175 and the medium fits just right. If you are any bigger a M will be too small. Nice warmth for the weight, but not a winter coat on its own. More of a winter layer or fall /spring coat. Still, a step up in volume and warmth from the North Face Thermoball.

    A bit disappointed no drawstrings

I bought this jacket on super sale for about half price. For that reason (and cuz I’m not sure what my alternative is) I’ll probably keep it. I had the marmot Zeus down jacket for a few years and it was starting to wear out so I got the Tullus which I can only assume is meant to replace the Zeus? Anyway, 3 significant disappointments. 1) no waist drawstrings? I’m 6’2” about 203lbs, about 36” waist and the XL fits pretty good except the waist is billowy. I wish I could cinch it. The Zeus has drawstrings. 2) they took away the giant left and right inside pockets which were great for keeping a beanie or whatever in. 3) it says it’s packablenin a hand pocket. I was able after much stuffing to cram it in

      Tellus

Bought the denim color. Found it fits true to size, xl and I'm 5'10 and 200 lbs, wife says it looks great. Second marmot I've purchased from backcountry and am very pleased with both. Have wore in temps down to 0 degrees in tshirt and was warm. Will use as jacket for running around town.

        Great jacket!

Just purchased and have not had the opportunity to use, but love the fit and look. I typically wear a medium in Patagonia's Nano Puff. This jacket has a little more room to layer.

        Losing its feathers!

Comfortable and warm jacket, but its shedding down from all its seams. Also the shell seems to tear very easily leading to a white fluffy cloud! I would recommend another brand. Very dissapointed with quality.

        light and warm

Stormcloud is a great color. Jacket is warm and comfortable and it looks sharp - I hope it doesn't shed. So far- no problems.

        Was great at first, But.......

It was great until it started to shed feathers on everything after the 3rd day. I thought that was what you had to deal with when you wear a down jacket but, I bought another down by a different brand and it doesn’t shed. I Should return or exchange, maybe I just received a bum jacket.

          Ran snall

          • Size Bought: L
          • Height: 6'1"
          • Weight: 205lbs

Ran smaller than North Face. Would have exchanged for larger size but didn’t want to keep paying shipping charges if it didn’t fit

          Perfect for me

          • Size Bought: 2xl
          • Height: 5'9"
          • Weight: 260lbs

Exceptionally comfortable. 15 degrees with a wind chill and was wearing a t shirt underneath. Size is always my problem. I am 5’9 260lbs. Not a body builder or anything. More one of those barrels chested types. I always struggle with finding clothes that are not tight in the chest and shoulders. This jacket is roomy and comfortable. Love it. Thanks!

Great jacket and I picked it up just in time for the cold temps that are quickly creeping up on us! I've been doing some bike packing/overnight camp trips with temperatures going down into the low 30s and this jacket has kept me warm the whole time! Love it.

I've been looking for a good down jacket (my first) for a few months now and believe I found a winner. I purchased the Steel Onyx one that was on sale and Backcountry shipped it to me in two days. Great color and great price! After opening the package and seeing how light and thin the jacket was, I thought there's no way this thing could be much better than a wind breaker. I put it on and the fit is very nice. I'm 6'4" tall and the medium fit just right. I was concerned the sleeves would be too short but they were not and the jacket isn't bulky either. If you are much taller than 76" you will probably need to consider something else. Temps that day were about 34 degrees and sunny with a stiff breeze so I headed out for a walk around my neighborhood to test it out. I was wearing a short sleeve t-shirt underneath, a fleece cap and gloves. The wind didn't penetrate the jacket at all and after walking for a few minutes I actually had to lower the zipper some due to getting a bit too warm. Overall I'm quite impressed with this jacket. I believe it would keep you warm down to 20 degrees with a light fleece underneath it. It's not bulky, the color is nice, and Backcountry had a great price on these with fast shipping! Kudos to them!
