Totally digging this caterpillar. For the price I got it here on Backcountry, I think I'll be ordering dozens more and donating them for our Foundation's silent auction later this summer. Also was amazed at backcountry's shipping speed. Truly remarkable experience overall. Suggestion: This is a little to bulky for backpacking but great for car camping or any outdoor activity that does not require lugging it around for hours.

Great Summer Bag
I already have a 15 Degree Down Sawtooth and bought this to compliment it when summer car camping. It's been great!

I LOVE this bag!
- Familiarity:

Now don't get me wrong - this bag is not made for 15 degree winter camping so don't buy it thinking you'll camp in snow comfortably. However this bag is super awesome and versatile for most other camping environments. Mine has already been all over the country through many adventures. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made - so much bang for my buck. And so much so that I've purchased the same model twice again as gifts for my sister and father.

A bit too bulky for a pack
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I was hoping to use this for bikepacking however it does not reduce to a small enough size so I ended up returning it. It is a great price and small for synthetic bag however I need a bag that can get really small to fit into a pannier and leave room for other gear.

So warm!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I love this sleeping bag. I was warm in it with a t shirt and leggings on camping in November in Washington (probably in temps as low as 30-40 degrees F). It keeps me warm in my hammock too which can be chilly to sleep in. The stuff sack it comes in makes it packable and it fits right in the bottom of my pack leaving room for clothes and other gear in the rest of the pack. It dries pretty quickly too! Definitely worth every penny

Good, but gets caught
- Familiarity:

I got this as a gift and I’d say it’s a really good sleeping bag! Definitely long enough (I’m 5’11”), definitely keeps me warm, feels nice, isn’t too slim or to baggy. The only issue is that this bag’s zipper gets caught on itself more than any other sleeping bag I have ever used. Sometimes I just climb out of it without unzipping it because I don’t want to fix the zipper 10 times and rip the inner material every time I get in and out of it. I use it every night as I’m currently staying in a basement that is not insulated. It’s also pretty big and will take up an entire (small) backpack or half your duffle bag. Definitely not made to be small, but that’s not really an issue.

Great value!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Purchased for my daughter to use at multiple summer camps and with the anticipation that we want to give basic backpack camping a try (thinking hammocks). Can't say from experience but seems like a great 2-mild 3 season sleeping bag. Comes with stuff sack and packs easily to a surprisingly compact size. Very little experience backpacking so can't say if weight is ideal but seems lighter than I expected and good for a synthetic bag. For what it's worth, my 12yo loves it, said it worked well on her cabin and dorm bunks, and she was able to repack (stuff) on her own. Did look up a few videos online with tips on how to do this and watched with her before her travels. She practiced a few times having no trouble. Followed guidance from Backcountry and other sources on how to store when not in use so expect this bag to last a long time as it seems to be made well. Do recommend for the uses mentioned above. Perhaps is worthy of 5 stars but with limited use at this time didn't feel I could honestly make that claim yet.
