I love marmot products my last bag is still going strong after 10 years of heavy use it’s just getting compressed.

The bag arrived and looked great no issues with manufacturing and it seems just as good as any other product I have from the company. I went out last night to the north country trail in MN just to give the bag a quick test. The bag packed well and lofted nicely after a day of being compressed.

With little to no wind and just your average MN dampness in the air the bag was cold all night. The zipper seemed to let in more air than I would like when I moved around.

The temp did not drop below 40f and I had to put on my down jacket just to stay warm at 1am. But I could not get comfortable so at 4:40am we packed up and headed out because I was just to cold.

My wife slept just fine with the same sleeping pad and her SJK bag with the same rating. I have a climbing trip next week and will have to order something else since I do not trust this bag.

    Awesome Bag!

This bag is great! I have been kept plenty warm (~30 Degrees). It compacts pretty well for a synthetic bag, not as good as down, but that is expected.

I really like the fact that I can zip down both sides: full length on left side and down to my midsection on the right. If I am warm it allows for a bit more ventilation in the bag.

The other thing that I really like is the footbox. I don't have huge feet, size 10, but it provides a little bit more space in the bag for my comfort.

    Keeps me warm!

I'm a car-dweller, and I currently sleep in this bag on a full-time basis. So far its been used in temperatures ranging from around 20-45 degrees F, and I've never been too cold or too warm. I'm a broad-shouldered guy, and the bag is a little narrow for me, but it zips open at the torso on both sides, making it still pretty comfortable. It compresses fairly well, and is relatively lightweight for a synthetic bag. For a dedicated backpacking/alpine bag I would probably want something lighter/more compressible, but as a car-camping/easy-backpacking bag it does the job, and it does it well. This is my second Marmot sleeping bag, and I've always been very impressed with the quality they deliver at such an affordable price.
