Wondrous warmth without blowing the bank.

The Marmot Women's Trestles 15 Sleeping Bag offers superb value with its toasty warmth and comfort-oriented shape. Its affordable price point sure doesn't hurt either, leaving plenty of extra loot for far-flung trips into the mountains. SpiraFil LT insulation traps thermal warmth with its high-loft synthetic fibers, ensuring you're sleeping soundly when the mercury plunges on crisp, clear evenings. Newly improved over previous versions, the anatomical, 3D-shaped footbox improves warmth and roominess for your feet.

Although it's rated to 15 degrees, the Women's Trestle 15 is actually a bit warmer than the men's-specific version, as backed by its EN Comfort rating of 16 degrees (versus the men's version with an EN Comfort rating of 27 degrees). Marmot does this because female campers usually sleep colder than their male counterparts, so a bit of extra insulation does wonders to boost overnight comfort in cold weather. On those especially frigid evenings, the adjustable collar and hood lock in precious body heat from escaping. There's also a second fold-down zipper, should you feel overly warm on mild summer nights.

  • Lofty warmth for freezing nights under the stars
  • EN Comfort rated to 16F for comfort on cold evenings
  • SpiraFil LT insulation maintains loft and durability
  • Adjustable collar and hood retain heat from escaping
  • Second fold-down zipper for extra ventilation
  • Included compression sack for easy packing
  • Item #MAR013Q

Warm & fluffy.

I've put it through the wringer

This bag is quite large and wide compared to my other mummy. That is an advantage because I am a wiggler and don't like feeling confined when I sleep, it is wider towards the top, I usually keep one side open so my dog can snuggle. It is very warm! I've had to leave it open and my feet out on 30 degree nights. Color is very nice also. Only disadvantage is its pack size, the bag is quite large and heavy even when compressed. Best for car camping.

Warm and pretty sleeping bag

I've used it several times

Kept me very warm in a -2ºC. Beautiful design, I bought the one with the right zipper because my boyfriend has the one with left zipper and even when his sleeping bag is an old design, the zippers matched perfectly to get a huge couple sleeping bag. It´s bigger than a down sleeping bag for sure, so if you are looking for something small maybe you should keep looking, but if the size doesn't really matter to you, then this one is perfect =) I am a rock climber and travel a lot with it and I haven't had any trouble at all about the size

Thanks for the review! Good to know that it zips together. If anyone is wondering -2 celsius is 28 degrees Fahrenheit.

Warm and comfy sleeping bag

I took this sleeping bag to Yosemite recently. At about 8600 ft elevation in early summer (30s F at night), this sleeping bag kept me warm. I tend to run cold normally and this bag was toasty. I did not even have to wear socks or jacket to bed. Great overall bag.

Just right

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I feel the material is sturdy, the zippers don't snag, I love the stash pocket, I love the stylish inside, the hood pulls too a bit getting used to but after figuring it out I love it.. I almost wanted it to be fluffier however.. for a 15 degree bag that would make it potentially bulkier. The only iffyness I would have, is finding a way to compress it more. I have a Deva 70 and it doesn't really fit well in the sleeping bag compartment (compressed ) it's really snug and I have to understand hook the divider in the pack to get it in there. If you know Gregory packs, a 70 is a fairly large pack. I would like to know if anyone has found a smaller compression sack or suggestions to that if possible. Otherwise.. great warm comfy bag.

Keeps You Warm!!

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just used this on a snowy mountain in Hudson Valley, NY. Had a sleeping pad under the bag and wore two layers of clothes. A base layer and a fleece layer. The low was 14 degrees and I was very warm.. almost too warm! Would definitely recommend.

Just the thing

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this as a gift for a friend just getting started with the outdoors. She will probably nee to upgrade if she gets serious about backpacking, but for now this bag is perfect. Marmot is a great brand, too so I had no qualms about giving a bag I hadn't used myself. She was very happy and ready to hit the woods!

Great Sleeping Bag

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just got this bag and so far I really like it! The bag is a bit heavy, but it is perfect for what I plan to use it for. The color and design of it are so cute. I set it up to test it out and it seems like it will be pretty warm! It is roomy enough that you don't feel confined, but it is also not too big that it won't keep in heat. I am 5'2" and the regular was the perfect length for me! I can't wait to use it more!!

Keeps you very warm. The short zipper gets stock quite a bit. A little heavy for backpacking but It's really confortable. The disign is lovely.

Warm & Comfy

I've used it several times

I love Marmot sleeping bags. I have this exact bag, but 29 degree. Both are super comfortable, spacious and keep you warm.

I just bought this and used it for the first time in Moab last weekend, It seems to be a bit wider than other bags I've had in the past but overall I was stoked. We were camped up in the La Sals and the temps probably got down to low 30s at night and I was sufficiently warm. The hood cinches really nicely to trap in heat, there is a cool feature where there is the main zip and then a short fold down zip on the other side of the collar for added ventilation. Its not the lightest bag on the market but good for the price, plus it comes in a cute pattern!
