    best touring glove

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Look no further for a touring glove. Great for the skin track, boot pack, and for winter climbing/mountaineering purposes; not warm enough for resort skiing or the downhill, but they are surprisingly warm for their weight. Leather is very durable and provides great grip on pole/ice axe. Back of glove even breathes decently. I have multiple pairs.

    Great gloves for ski touring.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Best gloves for ski touring I've found in 25 years of touring.

I've tried them all - cheap hardware store leather to expensive tour specific models - they wear out in one season or they get soaked from sweat or snow.

I've always toured with 2 pairs of gloves - a lightweight pair for the up and a warm pair for the down.

These gloves have lasted 2 seasons. I stay warm and dry even when I'm sweating and it's snowing. I used them for a week in -0 F touring in the Selkirks and used them for the up and down.

I just ordered a second pair - I'll save them for when my 2 year old pair wears out - so far no signs of wear.

    Great gloves for ski touring.
