Spire Bib Pant

You have powder-specific boards, but what about your pants? The Marmot Women's Spire Pant was made for ripping through deep stuff; its three-layer, Gore-Tex shell offers full waterproof protection from deep snow, but also allows water vapor to escape which is key—you're likely to be working up a sweat skinning to those fresh lines and even on the way down, too. The full side zips let you easily pull the Spire on and off without even removing your boots, and allow you to vent the pants when things start to get toasty. A Cordura scuff guard protects each hem from your edges or crampons (whatever the tool of the day may be) while the gaiters ensure no snow can sneak up your legs.
  • Shell pants for going uphill and downhill on skis
  • Waterproof Gore-Tex ensures you stay dry and comfortable
  • Full seam taping and water-resistant zippers prevents leaks
  • Articulated knees reduce excess fabric and improve mobility
  • Full side zips make for easy on-off, even over boots
  • Removable suspenders offer a secure fit
  • Internal gaiter keeps the snow out of your boots
  • Scuff guards prevent damage from ski edges and crampons

These pants are of fantastic quality and very flattering. They did fit a little snug in the thigh area in my normal XS.

I aboslutely love these bibs. I am so glad bibs are back "in" because boy oh boy are they comfortable and keep all the snow out. They are great for touring and help me keep my temperature regulated with the venting. There is nothing worse than having to pull your pants up all the time. Overall 10/10.

I wanted to love these pants as they are a great name brand and color. I bought these pants in a size medium and they fit well in length and at the waist but the hips and thigh area was too snug for my intended backcountry skiing use. When I would squat or bend my leg they felt tight and restricted movement. Otherwise comfortable and beautiful color!

These pants are exactly what I wanted. The fit is excellent. I hated those big formless bib pants that most companies make for women. These are true to size and have an attractive fit and are super functional. If it's cold out you do need to layer up as this is just a gortex shell. I wear a pair of leggings underneath. But that's also a benefit of being able to use them on warmer days or in variable temperatures.

These pants seemed pretty great - the fit of the bib on my torso was just right and the length of the small was perfect for me (I'm 5'4"). I found the thigh fit to be a bit tighter than i was looking for; they pants have an awesome slim fit and it was more of personal preference that led me to keep looking for my perfect pair. It should be noted that the Red Dahlia color is deeper / richer than the photo above (not as hot pink in person).

Big, bulky snow pants say "buh-bye". The Marmot Spire Bibs are incredible. Not only are these a 3 layer Gore-Tex fabric, they also are easy to move in. Most other bibs, I've found to be either too big in the bottoms or too tight in the waist, but these fit just right. They fit a light base layer underneath, and keep out winds and snow. The top of the bib hits about 3-4 inches above my hip bone and allows me to layer both underneath as well as overtop with no bulk. My favorite part about these bibs? The lower back is cinched in with ruching which proves that ladies still have a shape even in a snow bib. Well done Marmot.

Love the way these fit, I usually wear a size 6, and I am very tall (long legs) so I went with the Medium size to accommodate my height, as well as putting thick base-layers underneath for resort days. Use this touring in the backcountry, as well as in-bounds. Love the dual toned blue color option, has good visibility in white-out conditions in the backcountry.

Does the side zipper allow for easy bathroom access?

Hi Sage - Yes it does. The side zipper opens up the pants from the top down, as well as from the bottom of the legs to the waist
