Beautiful jacket

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

True to size

Bought for my wife in size small, navy color. Beautiful jacket and fit well. Used at Big Sky in variable cold conditions. Ranged from -5 F to 18 F across several days. She layered with a Marmot avant vest underneath with wool base layer and extra Kari Traa fleece on the very cold days. She nor my daughter who has the same jacket different color complained about feeling cold, only their faces and toes. Even when the snowing was bombing their jackets stayed dry. But it was Montana dry snow. I think if you ski in Whistler or other wet stuff, a Gore tex or higher rated water proofed shell would be needed.

Great buying experience

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit:
True to size

I had a great shopping experience with Backcountry. They were great with communication, and updates. Their shipping was quite fast especially around the holidays. Their prices are extremely high but I guess that’s what you’d expect from high name brands. Shoe sizes are true to size. Moving forward they are a great company with a huge selection of products. I’ll definitely be buying from them again.
