Practical and Stylish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now have the Preon in both black and green. Being more fitted to the body it is a nice change from bulky fleece. The thumbholes are a nice addition. The appearance of "waffle like" texture makes the appearance a bit unique.

Excellent jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for some thing that will provide some warmth when I’m active and it’s below freezing. This piece is an excellent layering piece. The insulation is just enough and the jacket is very breathable

Great midweight jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice waffle texture midweight fleece jacket. Feels about the same warmth as 200 weight fleece and I use it mostly as a layering piece as the fit is trim for me. The thumbholes are great when putting another layer over it so the sleeves do not bunch up or ride up.

I adore this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely one of my staple jackets. It wears well on it's own when there's a slight chill in the air, or is thin enough that it is perfect for layering under a puffy. When the weather temps fluctuate drastically through the day (as they often do in the mountains) this is a must-have in my pack. I wear it hiking, camping, climbing, paddling, and as an everyday option. I also love the long sleeves and hood (I have the women's jacket with a hood). I wear this so often that I get little wear holes in the cuff that I sew back together each year or so, I only wish the cuffs were reinforced a bit - it's probably about time for me to get a replacement!
