Wets Out Too Fast

I recently had to ride my bike to the Dentist office. It rained all the way there but the ride was only about 15 minutes long. I then had to ride from Dentist's office to store to go to pharmacy. The rain was constant but not beyond moderate. It took about 1/2 hour to get to pharmacy. After riding there, the rain picked up to a little more than moderate and I had to ride home for about another 40 minutes. By the time I got home, even with the pit zips partially open and me not riding hard at all, I was drenched in sweat inside the PreCip jacket and the jacket itself was totally soaked through. Almost like it wasn't a rain jacket at all. I have zero confidence in this jacket any more. It is only good for a light drizzle for a short amount of time or just to keep bugs off in a cooler season or as a heavier wind jacket. Wet is not its best feature.

Terrible Zipper

Not sure if I received a bad jacket or what. I could not get the main zipper to work. I tried for a while, put it down. Came back after a bit, thinking this had to be a fluke. I still could not get the jacket to zip back up. I am a bit bummed here. The rest of this coat looks very well made. I loved the fit, and the features. A rain jacket without a zipper kind of defeats the purpose though.
