repellent) finish. The brimmed hood effectively shelters your girl's head without cutting out her peripheral vision, so she'll be able to clearly see around her when crossing the street or moving along the trail. The jacket is constructed for free movement, and though
lightweight overall, features nylon ripstop fabric that offers hand-me-down durability.

Is this jacket wind proof or resistant?
Hey Debra,
The Marmot PreCip is considered one of the best bang for your buck rain shells on the market. It is definitely my favorite. The NanoPro material breathes exceptionally well while being waterproof and lightweight. There is no rating for wind proofness but I would say the PreCip is highly wind resistant.
