Warmth and breathability10; fly design less than 0
Great warmth and breathability. The most unusual fly design I've ever encountered. Not a fan.

Excellent Baselayer for Snowboarding/Ski
Excellent mid-weight equivalent baselayer. I’m using them for snowboard and skiing, with both shell and semi-insulated pants. Super comfortable and effective. True to size. I have a 33” waist and the medium fits perfectly everywhere.

Exceptionally good.
Searched and searched for warm, low compression base layer bottoms. Tried Arcteryx, Icebreaker, Smartwool and Columbia. Lots of returns. Except for the Marmots. They’re super comfortable. I can be active in them without binding in the knees or hips. Great elastic waistband. Super soft inside. I tried them in 20F weather and they kept my nice and warm. Pricey but in my opinion worth it. I would definitely recommend any Marmot piece with Polartech fabric. Very insulating.

Hiking in the north east
They do slide down a little bit, although they are warm under jeans on a 25 degree morning. Movement is not constricted. I recommend

Super-warm Super-comfy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to wear leggings 6 months out of the year and last year I was introduced to Marmot’s Polartec Tights. These are my new favorites for sure. Very warm & comfortable with absolutely no slippage. I’m definitely gonna stock up on these, as I hate to be cold!!!

Great Warm Baselayer
Excellent warm baselayer. Perfect for nights camped out in the cold. This is a beefy layer. When paired with other layers or on warm days it could be too warm. It was the perfect layer to change into a night on a backcountry ski trip once I wasn't moving as much and wanted something dry to change into.

Happy purchase
Warm and lightweight. I’ve stayed comfortable in temps down to high single digits while paired with either mid-weight joggers or soft shell snow pants. Plus I wasn’t exercising and moving around.
