    Who needs hotels anyway?

You made a hotel reservation a month and a half before the Ice Festival, but now the hotel has no record of it. It doesn't matter too much though, because you brought your Marmot Women's Ouray 0-Degree Down Sleeping Bag along just in case, which is probably a whole lot better than that hole of a hotel-motel, anyway. Plus, this way you'll have an extra hundred bucks a night to blow at the bar after the day's festivities.

Marmot set the Ouray up with all the features you'd expect of a dependable 0-degree bag by insulating it with water-resistant down and treating the ripstop fabric with a DWR finish for extra protection against moisture and condensation from tent walls or car windows. The mummy shape of the bag includes an anatomic footbox to give your toes a little wiggle room during the night, because waking up with cold toes is almost as bad as waking up in a flea-ridden hotel bed. In order to limit heat loss, Marmot backed the zipper with a snag-free insulated draft tube and put the seams at ground level to help trap warm air, and included a hood that can be cinched down tightly when things get really cold. The Ouray also features a multi-baffle construction to keep the down from wandering as you roll around at night, so you don't have to struggle through cold spots.

    • Winter camping bag that's big on warmth and protection
    • Stuffed with 650-fill treated down insulation for lofty warmth
    • Mummy shape with anatomic footbox conforms to your body
    • Ripstop nylon with DWR finish helps shed precipitation
    • Nautilus multi-baffle hood puts heat where you need it
    • Insulated draft tube defends against the wind
    • Ground level side seams prevent ground moisture from seeping in
    • Internal stash pocket holds your maps and headlamp
    • Item #MAR01BJ

    Best bag ever!

As someone who sleeps cold no matter how many layers or what the season, I decided to up my sleeping bag game with a 0 degree bag. This bag is so cozy and warm! Paired with an all season pad, this bag gave me the best sleep I’ve ever had while backpacking. Just buy it!

    Warm! Finally!

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

I get cold easily, even in the summer. I backpack and camp mostly in the mountains. But, even deserts get cold. So, finally I decided to go with a women's 0 degree bag and I don't regret it. It's the first good night's sleep I've had in a tent in years. If you aren't camping near water, or at lower mountain elevations, then just leave the bag open, so you don't overheat. But, at higher elevation, like 9K+ or near lakes, this snuggly bag with keep you nice and toasty. I did use a silk sleeping bag liner, at 10K+ near water.

    Great bag - very warm.

Bought for my girlfriend Nicole. Used primarily fall, winter and spring. The bag is very warm, she even got hot camping around 25° Fahrenheit, and vented the bag out to dump heat. She is not a very cold sleeper but does enjoy her heat when theirs still snow on the ground in Colorado. The bag will require a backpacking pillow, as is a true mummy. My opinion, great bag for the buck. Way more down than the Never Summer and is relatively light. I would recommend to any cold sleeper.
