Ready for your mountain quests.
Intense activities in the mountains such as hiking, climbing, or backcountry skiing require a delicate balance between staying warm and not overheating. If you're too cold, you won't be able to perform at your highest level; too hot, and you'll get drenched in sweat and left shivering. Keep your temperature regulated during your alpine adventures with the Marmot Men's Neothermo Hooded Top.
Polartec Power Grid fabric wicks sweat and dries rapidly to rid you of heat-robbing moisture, and its grid structure traps more heat without adding bulk. Plus, it stretches easily to follow your every movement without restriction. And with its slim fit, you can comfortably layer it under your technical shell in mid-winter.

So far so good
I work as a union carpenter in the U.P. The winters are cold and working outside itâs nice to have a base-layer that that doesnât seem to hold in sweat. The hood works perfect under a hard hat. Itâs only November now and itâs only going to get colder. But like I said. So far so good!
Super idea Runs Slightly Small
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large
- Height: 6'4"
- Weight: 185lbs
The Neotherm pullover is my new favorite lightweight fleece. It is very Lightweight and you can see through it . Breathes well. Built for movement.
Close athletic fit. It reminds me of a better version of the classic Patagonia R .5 . It is that good. It is far better than the R1.
The arms are long enough for a tall guy. The thumb loops work great This is tighter in the body and shoulders. If it had the same fit as the pullover it would be five stars.
For reference I am 6'4" and 185 pounds. I wear a 16x35 shirt and a 42L jacket. I bought a large. It's slightly tight but still a great item.
