    Good not great fit

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 195lbs

I wore this as a second layer for nearly 6 straight days on Kilimanjaro. It fit much looser than I thought it would. I'm 6'2 195lbs. I bought a large and it wasn't quite as form-fitting as I thought it would be. However, it was warm and even after days of using it I didn't feel like it was driving people away from me ;) It's a really great secondary layer and the looser fit might actually be better depending on how many layers you have on under it. Super comfy as well. No problem recommending this one.

    Great for Tall People

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'10"
    • Weight: 215lbs

I purchased this after I saw reviews on the sleeves being too long. Being extremely tall (6' 10" with an arm span of 7' 2"), I had to buy it since I can almost never find any sleeves long enough. The sleeves are long enough! Even long enough for me to fit my thumbs in the thumbs holes without it being stretched to far. So as far size, it was perfect for me, but might be a little large for the average person who wears a large.

I used this on a Backpacking trip I took to Lofoten Norway during mid June. It was on and off rain the entire trip, so the were definitely points where it got completely soaked. But since it is a thinner material, it dries quite quickly. Even though it is a lightweight and thinner shirt, it was surprisingly warm! Only time I was cold was when it was soaked or the wind was ripping though. Excellent lightweight base layer.

Only concern is that it is starting to pill along the bottom. Probably because it was under my waist belt and being rubbed the entire time so wear and tear is expected.

Overall, great product! 10 out of 10

Not a good fit for me.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 195lbs

I am 6' 1" and about 195 lbs. Ordered an XL and it is very snug around the torso, and the sleeves are about 3" too long. Maybe I would do better in a large, but would be concerned that it would be way too tight. Otherwise, a nice shirt, but not what I was expecting - it is very much a tight fitting base layer - I thought it would be more similar to a Marmot Polartec zip neck pullover that I purchased a couple years ago or some other base layers that work well as "casual shirts".

    Size not true!

I bought this 'men's size small', I am a 5'8 130# female, this top was so tight that I could barely get it over my shoulders and the waist was extremely tight, very weird fit. I bought it because it was $65.97, but when I tried to exchange it 2 days later, it had gone to 109.95 (?) The material is also not fleece, it is almost a see-through type material, and very thin. Disappointing, as I usually love Marmot products. :o(

      Perfect light fleece

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Large
      • Height: 6'4"
      • Weight: 185lbs

This is an amazing product with great fit. Fleece shirts rarely fit well if you have long arms. This on the other hand has a great cut, with long sleeves and the thumb loops. It's Everything a Patagonia R1 wants to be but isn't.

I am 6'4 and 185lbs. I wear a 16-35 shirt. This fits great in large.

I can wear a light base layer under it. Sleeves are long enough to even use the thumbnails. A trim fit.

Warm, good fit, long sleeves. I just ordered a second.

The elastine really works for a good fit with a little stretch.
