Winter Coat

Nice coat, hood not so much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice, great quality coat. Loved the soft inner lining! I also liked the length and the double zipper, which adds room when driving my car. But the arms where shorter than I like them to be (I like to be able to retract my hands when not wearing gloves). The arm length would have been perfect if this had been a sweater. But that might just a personal preference. I returned coat due to the hood: with fur attached I couldn't see much of anything and I don't care for fuzzy fur touching my face. When fur was detached, the hood seemed bit thin and I could feel the drawstring through the material, definitely wouldn't shield the face much. I do like a fully detachable hood like this one, although it was a bit hard to re-attach it (gotta stuff it in somewhat and attach to velcro). I debated a long time, but I do want a good, useful and comfy hood.

Daughter loves it!

Marmot is Minnesota Winter Approaved!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Marmot coat does the job when it comes to keeping me warm and dry for the brutal Minnesota Winters. Growing up where being outdoors during the winter is very common, I needed a jacket that would be able to keep me warm and dry. My Marmot coat does all of this and it’s very stylish. I can wear it with a dress and still be warm because of its length or wear it with a pair of casual jeans and it still looks very good. I have a curvy figure at 5’3 and weigh 120 so I got the XL and I still have room to wear a thick sweater or hoodie underneath. This purchase was well worth it and I couldn’t be happier.

Zipper broken within a month
The zipper for this jacket became stuck closed (with no visible damage or forcing of the zipper pull) after maybe 10 wears. Fit, warmth, and style are great, but the quality stinks. I've been buying Marmot for decades but I won't be buying or recommending again in the future.

FITS SO SMALL!
This jacket runs VERY small. I wear a XL-XXL. So I decided to size up to the XXL to get safe then sorry. It runs so so so small. I can’t even zip up the XXL.

Best coat ever 😍
