Waterproof feature doesn't last

I bought this jacket in 2021 and it worked great for about a year. Now I get completely drenched if there is any more than a light drizzle. This product isn't cheap so I'm really frustrated by the quality.

The cloth completely leaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn this jacket about 10-12 times, usually for walking the dog in drizzle. Now, I get entirely soaked when wearing it.

The perfect jacket for both hiking and city

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket in blue last year for my 3-week trip to Iceland. I loved it so much, I just ordered another in black! I ordered both jackets in large, even though I normally wear a medium, so I could wear multiple layers underneath. It still has a slim look, even in large. I love everything about this jacket: the trim styling, the zippered armpits, the adjustable wrist bands, the excellent windproof and waterproof qualities, the adjustable hood , etc. This is the perfect Gortex jacket!

Not good for hiking long distances in rain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hiking the West Highland Way in Scotland and needed a new proper raincoat….after a lot of research and not wanting to spend $400 I found this coat and felt it would do the job but it was no match for the rain in Scotland. We were hiking about 7-12 miles a day and most days were constant rain or on and off again downpours…I was soaked through within the first mile each time. If you need it for some basic get a round in the rain I’m sure it’s fine but if you are hiking in the pure elements with nothing around….pass on this one or treat it before going out (which feels ridiculous because it’s gore-tex but I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Marmot jacket and I love it, as well. I also have the rain pants, which are awesome.

Great, attractive, basic jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good, highly functional, attractive jacket, but there's a bit of "crackly" noise. Otherwise it's a good jacket, and I always love pit-zips for quick heat dumping.

Functional and attractive!

I bought this rain jacket to walk the Camino de Santiago trail next year. I wore it to the beach and s it was raining walked the beach in it. It not only kept me dry but was a great wind break as well. I love the green color. It is a standout.
