Maggie Midweight Flannel Long-Sleeve Shirt - Women's

Softest and very feminine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I llove all the Marmot flannel shirts because they don't make me look like a woodchopper and they are very feminine. Plus they are easy care. I buy them every season. Love the interesting button details on the back. And they are not overly heavy so you don't get over-heated. I am broad shouldered though so many of these run about 1/2 size too small for me around my upper back and sleeves sometimes.

Good product but incorrectly advertised

Head's up to potential buyers looking for a lightweight, not midweight flannel - this is incorrectly advertised. I purchase the Botanical Garden and Picante colors and they both came with tags that says "Wm's Maggie Midweight Flannel" and a description of "durable, midweight performance..." despite the online listing saying it is lightweight. Marmot does have another listing for midweight flannel, but it isn't supposed to be this one. I purchased this item specifically because I am looking for something lightweight. Keeping my purchases because I like the colors and it's a great design.

Just right. I like the shirt.

I am 5'6", 130lbs and the small fits well. Size medium would have worked just as nicely for a little extra roominess. Nicely made flannel shirt with a good, medium weight to the fabric. Not flimsy, not too heavy for indoor wearing. I love the buttons down the back for added style and the dropped length for extra coverage.

Back Buttons

I don’t know how I missed that this shirt has buttons on the back. Not practical for day hikes or backpacking. Will be returning and looking for another more practical flannel.

New favorite flannel

I love this flannel: It's loose enough to feel airy and comfortable, and long enough for a flattering fit -- not boxy or bulky. It's high quality, yet so soft. I even wore it for springtime skiing (June), even though it's cotton. :) The buttons down the back also provide a unique touch!

Hideous Buttons on the Back

The flannel material is really nice and I liked the green color I got a lot but I returned it immediately when I realized there are hideous, nonfunctional buttons going up the back of the shirt. Why would anyone put buttons there? How would I wear this shirt and put the weight of a backpacking bag on and not have the buttons dig into my skin?

Beautiful shirt, sizing off

This is a beautiful and super soft flannel shirt, it was just too tight in the bust for me. The fit was great everywhere else. In the end I decided to return and choose not to order a size up.

Great shirt!

I have had this shirt in another color for about a year and I love it so much I had to order a second one. It is so comfortable and soft! After a year, my other Maggie flannel still looks brand new!

I've been wearing this shirt all the time for several months now. It is cozy and warm and layers well. There is some pilling, but not enough to bother me. I love the buttons up the back.
