Force 3P Tent
Shave substantial weight from your minimalist backpacking set-up without sacrificing roominess or sleeping comfort with the Marmot Force 3-Person Tent. The Force 3 is redesigned to be lighter than ever, saving a good five ounces from the previous version. In fact, it tips the scales at a paltry 3.6 pounds (trail weight), maximizing your carrying efficiency on distance treks and thru-hikes where saving every ounce is absolutely crucial.
Extended head and foot zones maximize sleeping space, allowing three occupants to spread out without feeling cramped inside. Another cool feature is the lamp shade pocket, which holds your headlamp for ambient lighting after dark. For rainy environments where extra protection is necessary, the PU-coated rain fly and tent floor keep outside moisture from seeping inside. And to ensure structural integrity in oncoming storms and heavy winds, the lightweight, yet robust DAC NFL poles keep it taut and standing upright.

- I've put it through the wringer
Think my Force is 6 years old and still doing well. 3P is def needed for me (6â3 225) and a companion to be comfortable. Fits long sleeping pads/bags and Iâve always used a footprint and bottom is in good shape. Vents pretty well with rain fly on, I just try to get some air in by not cinching fly ALL the way to ground. Average 20/30 nights in it per year.
