My cousin gave this jacket to me and I don't know why Ive never bought goretex before because this jacket has been a game changer. Where I live, it rains A LOT and it rains sideways. This jacket keeps me dry and is super easy to shake the rain off after use. She bought me an XS which fits, but I would've preferred a S so I could layer under. At any rate, it fits and I love it!

Thank you so much for the great review Andree. I'm super stoked you love your new rain coat!

I’m heading to Scotland this September and was looking for a longer waterproof jacket to afford a bit more protection in what is likely a rainy walk. This fits the bill and leaves room to layer underneath. It also has a bit of a “waist”, and looks a bit more feminine. I got the gray so it will match everything I may bring. Only downside is the gore-Tex makes it a bit stiff & noisy, but the double zipper let’s you open it to sit or stride.

Thanks for the helpful review, Lorraine! :)

Great quality with a nice long length. Adjustable hood drawstrings, has double ended zippers in case you need to get into a pant pocket you can unzip from bottom. Pockets with zipper in the front, all zippers have a flap with velcro to ensure they're sealed from weather/water. Velcro around wrist also to keep water out.

Love the air vents underneath the armpits- allows body to stay cool while engaging in physical activity in the rain! Took to Alaska during rainy season and it was perfect!

I bought this for my mom to update her old rain jacket, here is her review. " This jacket is great! It is longer than normal so it covers more for when the rain is blowing sideways. I only use this jacket for trips (it packs down well) and for around town. This jacket would get too hot to run or hike in. It does have pit vents which is an added bonus but I haven't had to use them yet. This jacket is also a great improvement from my old one since the hood fits my head, since you can adjust it. "

Before traveling to Alaska this spring I went on research mission to find a Gortex jacket with maximum coverage and minimal weight at a reasonable price. This jacket fulfilled my requirements and more. The slimming style looks good on the street or trail. I found it comfortable over layers, but too close a fit to cover my small Nikon 1 from the weather. The length and hood/ cuff adjustments help to keep the wearer comfortable and dry. The lack of any interior pockets is my only minor complaint.

great raincoat,but didn't work

My daughter loved the raincoat, but it had too much velcro. she wears scarves a lot and knew they would be ruined. She found a different brand that was very similar but snapped closed in front . It didn't have underarm vents but it was a compromise and less expensive.

I love this rain jacket - it fits great, looks good, and functions fantastic. I always wear a medium in Marmot, and this jacket wasn't any different. It is form fitting but roomy enough for layers underneath. I ordered the light grey, and was worried about dirt, but it was really easy to clean just following the instructions. The only problem I have is with the location of the pockets - it is not comfortable at all to sit down when you have anything in the pockets. They are right at the hip level and you have to pull the jacket up in order to sit if you have anything in the pocket. This is very inconvenient for every day wear as I usually have my phone/wallet/keys in there. Other than that I do love it!

It is perfect ! Length to mid thigh, so it covers more than just derriere! Sizing is spot on- I wear size 2 typically, but like to have room to move and/or layer. I was worried small would be too tight or constricting - but it is the perfect balance, not huge so I would have to wrap it around me, and just right for one or two layers underneath. I love it, for wind, rain, or both.

Pretty light weight, nice colors, and great fit. Got this as a gift for my mom and she loves it. Cut is a little long so it helps to keep the pants dry. She is 5'10 and went with the XL for some more room layering underneath.

Great rain jacket

I found this to be a very well designed jacket and is great for raining days. It’s a perfect weight and has a nice waist shaping and the pockets are perfect.
