A soft, warm, breathable pant that really lets you make your ski day a workout.

The Marmot Women's Davos Pant has a lot going for it. Yes, a lot besides its good looks. It doesn't just have a feminine, modern boot cut with a slightly flared cuff and pretty built-in belt. It offers more: Marmot's high-performance M1 Softshell fabric, which breathes remarkably well, insulates against the cold, and resists all but the heaviest precipitation.
    • M1 Softshell's smooth outer face deflects wind and moderate snow, and it stretches easily to let you move freely
    • Internal gaiters with gripper elastic keep the snow out of your ski boots
    • Articulated knees let you move through your powder turns with ease
    • Cordura scuff guards boost durability and stand up to ski-edge abuse
    • Item #MAR1771

    Great slim ski pant

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 119lbs

This is the second one I have bought. Really nice slim cut but still covers your boots. The pants are very warm and generally waterproof. I've worn them in -25 and they have been great. I usually wear UK8 or Aus 8, US 4 and the small fits perfectly especially on the waist.

    Sleek and Comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 135lbs

I bought these two seasons ago and have worn them skiing , snow shoeing, and to play in the snow with the kids. They run true to size, but with the slim boot fit, they may be tighter in the thigh than some people like. These have some stretch, so they move with you and the soft shell repels water fairly well. I like that these have a bit shorter inseam than the other Marmot women's pants - great for shorter gals! The belt is great in case they are a little loose in the waist. I wish the two zip pockets were a little deeper, but they will fit an ID/credit card or a little bit of cash. I'll re-buy as I'm getting a bit closer to a size M now.

    Small Runs very small

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 112lbs

So the small is really small, so we order the medium, its too big. There is a very large gap between the two sizes. They need a small+. The pants are lined and really warm, unfortunately they are hard to find the right size.

    Nice pant with some issues

The pant seems to run a bit small. I got the medium, am usually a small, and it is a bit large. The fabric is great and I love the belt. The issue is there are NO vents! This is a back country pant with no vents? They are not spring pants - they are lined and while they are not necessarily heavy, they are not lightweight.

      Great fit, sturdy material

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: xs
      • Height: 5'4"
      • Weight: 108lbs

These are a great fit on petite girls - i have a hard time finding an activity pant that has a bit of shape and looks flattering on.

      1) form fitting but with plenty of room around knees to ensure ability to move
      2) abrasion, stretchy, wind resistant material that keeps you warm while being light weight
      3)belt is a nice addition

note - it is true that this pant has a smaller waist than average - which can be good or bad depending on your shape. It works for me!

      Waist Way Too Tight

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Size Bought: xs
      • Height: 5'2"
      • Weight: 100lbs

I wear an XS or 0, but this was way too tight around the waist and not form fitting everywhere else. They were loose and baggy unlike how they were described as slim fitting. Only slim fitting around waist to the point I couldn't breathe.

Not as fitted as i imagined

      • Fit: Runs small

Agree these run a bit small, so if you are on the borderline, order up. I wanted a snug fit so I ordered XS, which fit great in the legs but i couldn't fasten the waist. The small fits in the waist and hips really well, but the legs are baggier than I wanted. I am 5'4, 115 lbs. with a straight figure type. Keeping them because I hate to shop. Love the color fuchsia and the belt. The length is good on me with boots on, which means if you are tall they will likely be too short. I'm usually a 29 inseam.

      Durable and Flexible

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

I wear and work in these everyday during the winter. So warm, comfortable, and durable. Love the belt and the fit is very flattering.

      good lightweight winter pant

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small

I like my Marmot Davos pant for blustery, damp days when the temperature is above freezing. It's definitely a slim cut, and really made for women with a smaller waist than hip. I'm 5'4", 140lbs, and my waist and hip measurements aren't drastically different. The Large *just* fits my waist, with some extra room in the seat and hips.

Great pants but they run small.

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small

Great stretch and fit. Not your typical crunchy, baggy waterproof ski pant. That said, they do run small. I'm 5'3", 130lb. Athletic/gymnast build. I usually wear a 4-6, small in pants. But the small was tight! Even the medium fit snug in the waist and bottom. However, due to the stretch, they work. I am going to try a large so I can have a slightly looser fit. As for length, the mediums appear to work for my short legs (with ski boots on).

      Marmot Skyline Pants

I love the pants, so far. I have not been out on the slopes yet, but I tried them on at home, they fit nicely (the croch area is a little short, but nothing that would make me return them, I'm hoping they will stretch out a bit over time) They are flatterning and the dove gray color is great. I'm 5'4" about 115 lbs, so the small was perfect for me.

The end of Mom-Jean-Fitting Ski Pants!

I saw these in my local ski shop and fell in love before even trying them on, I just knew they were exactly what I wanted. What I had been searching for was a flattering pair of soft shell ski pants that were not super high rise with huge hips. Every pair I tried on were nearly up to my ribcage at the waist and the wide hips resulted in flaps on my sides resembling old school riding pants. Blech. Not the Davos though, they fit remarkably like normal pants - wow, what took everyone so long!

These are super warm even on the windiest days on the slopes, and not to mention comfortable! Feels like you're skiing in your favorite pair of PJs. My only issue is that for me the Mediums were too short so I went for the larges, which fit me baggier than intended but the length is right. If they made a Medium-long I'd be all over that!
I am trying to buy a second pair but everyone is sold out of these pants so get them wherever you can they are worth every penny.

Shoot! I love everything about these pants but I think they run pretty small. I usually wear a size 14/16 but the XL barley made it past my knees!! I wish this manufacturer and others would make plus size ski pants -there is such a thing as an active plus-sized woman!

          AWESOME PANTS!!!

Finally a pair of ski pants for women that you can MOVE in.I was skeptical when I first received them. The pants are not thick at all. So if you are expecting a thick layer of insulation, you are not going to find that in these pants. That being said, I put them on and went outside in 30 degree weather and was absolutely fine.I don't know how to describe the reminds me of kind of a funky scuba suit material on the outside and the inside is a very thin layer of soft fleece material.I am 5'8" and weigh approx 140. It is truly a low rise pant with enough material in the back to cover your fanny when you bend over. The pants came about two inches below my belly button. Waist fit darn near perfect. Length was pretty much spot on, wouldn't really want it any shorter for me.The pants are definitely boot cut, almost bell bottom, but you cannot tell from looking straight on. I think they will fit perfect over a pair of ski boots. The gaiter opening is a little bit large, but again, probably just about right for ski boots. The size was fairly true to size. I normally take a medium in most pants, this pant does not fit completely skin tight on me, so I could fit a pair of tights on underneath with no problem. I just don't know if I would actually need them.If you are a truly curvy gal like me with a little junk in the trunk, this is the best pair of ski pants I've found. Let it snow, let it snow, let it SNOW!

            Unanswered Question

I'm trying to figure out if the dark raspberry color is more of a maroon color or if it has a more pinkish tone to it.

            Unanswered Question

I'm conflicted about what size to order. I'm 5'6", 124lb. Athletic build, waist is only slightly narrower than my hips. Most likely will wear a base layer underneath. Based on reviews I'm leaning towards a medium but usually I take a small.

I'm curious about whether or not this pant is insulated. If so, what type of insulation. I'm needing a warm pant.
