Seeing is believing.

They say, "pics or it didn't happen," but what about when you're wearing gloves? The saying still applies, we think, when you can wear Marmot's touchscreen compatible Connect Trail Glove. Stretchy synthetic fabric is decked out with strategic mesh panels for moisture management and breathability, and a Pertex Quantum pull-on mitt stows away on top of the hand for extra wind resistance when you're running. The Connect is touchscreen ready even when you're wearing the mitt, too, so you'll never be unable to answer a call or snap a quick trail selfie.

Love the concept

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had a similar experience to Andrew G below, in that it seems the sensor finger tips are beginning to wear off, but it has not effected connectivity, if anything it just looks like wear.

The wind shell makes a solid difference in temperature relative to the gloves alone, and are easy to pop on and off, tuck away into their little pocket. Great for chilly days down to 20's or so depending on you general hand warmth and activity levels.

Fit was not loose without impeding movement and use.

Synthetic Finger Tips Wear Off

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these gloves around 3 months ago and have used them fairly consistently when I head out on runs or on walks with my dog. As a glove/mitten, I like how lightweight it is and it keeps my hands pretty warm when I'm out and about moving. My only real issue, and probably my foremost reason for purchasing the glove is so I could use my phone to switch up music etc while on runs. However, the etip material has all but completely worn off which makes the gloves useful for keeping my hands warm but close to unusable for smart device work. This is a bummer because I really enjoy most of the Marmot gear I've gotten but these gloves aren't very durable.

Synthetic Finger Tips Wear Off

Too slick

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used these gloves for the past few weeks now. I had purchased to use for walking my dog. I was wearing a pair of thin gloves under a pair of mittens. Mittens to keep my fingers warm and gloves for when needeng to use my hands. I thought these would be perfect all in one.
The fabric is way to slick. Need to take off the gloves to open a door knob. Remove gloves to open the waste bags for the dog. Remove gloves to get mail out of the mailbox. The purpose of gloves is to be able to use your fingers and protect from the elements. The mitten part of these is a thin windbreaker not much for warmth. They may last forever though. I need to take them off to do anything. Which is also a chore since they are to slick to pull each other off. I don't recommend if you need the use of your hands in the cold.

Warm and warmed up.

Sometimes there is a chill, and sometimes there is a bone chilling chill. These things are great because you can get that extra protection while you warm up and then peal back the mittens as you don't need them. Plus the etip works for both the mittens and glove.

    Great Shoulder Season Glove

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been using these gloves everyday this fall & they have been great! I start out my runs with the mitten pulled over the fingers & then pull it back when I warm up. They actually work for pretty cool temps & the tech pad works well.
