Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Nice tent, very easy to set up, however it would make a better 2+ person tent than a 3 person. I measure 60" of actual width, not enough for 3 sleeping pads. Bummer.

WOW

This is an incredible tent. 3 simple poles to setup, comes with a footprint and a removable cover as well so you can see through the mesh and look at the stars if it’s nice and warm out at night. Under 5 lbs. can’t wait to use it in the next upcoming weeks

Love this tent. Love this brand.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought this tent three years after I bought the Limelight 2 person. My daughter has decided to give camping a go and we needed a little more space. It sets up super fast and easy. Less than 10 minutes....Packs light and everything fits in the bag. I always go up a person in size but we can easily store all our gear and camp 2 ppl comfortably. I love the value of this tent. You get top of the line bells and whistles at a great price.

Thanks for the review Jen, glad you're digging the tent!

A tent for 2 people and 2 dogs

My husband and I got this tent because we needed the extra space on our backpacking expeditions for our two medium sized dogs. It packs down small and is easy to put up! With us and the dogs, there is still just enough room for all our gear!

Attention ALL Campers

This tent will rock your world, whether that would be 5 feet from your car or 17 miles out in the wilderness. Weighing in at 5lbs 9oz's, this tent was not too heavy for my smaller frame to carry in a pack for 32 miles in 2.5 days. The Catalyst kept me warm and dry during an unexpected wind and snow storm on a late summer trip in the Wind River Range. I was even able to make a hot meal on my Jetboil mini mo in the vestibule with howling winds and snow around me. The 3 person tent was perfect for 2 people and an extra snuggly pitbull along with a few dry bags (I kept the packs tucked away in the vestibule). Make this tent the CATALYST to your next epic adventure! Reach out to me directly with any questions!

how does tent compare to the limelight 3p tent by marmont? I cant decide

As a new dog owner, 65# Rhodesian, redbone coonhound mix, I am interested in how the floor held up with a dog. She has never camped so there’s that also.

Just the neatest tent you ever saw

I've wanted a tent for awhile now that will allow me to move about a little more than the coffin I use for backpacking. The Catalyst not only gives me more room, but also has all the bells and whistles you come to expect from Marmot's top-of-the-line tents. You've got to love the dual doors, and I'd put Marmot's fly's up against anyone in the biz!

Hey Mark! Thanks for the hip review!
