I've put it through the wringer

Used for Philmont Scout ranch. On the trail for 11 days, 2 after, and 2 before. (15 days) Rained hard one time didnt seem to have all the problems that other reviewers had. Vented tent by running the guide lines out and about the various areas to tie down and out. (Any tent camper/hiker will tell you this is a must do.) found rain fly a bit heavy, however, for the overall comfort and room worth it. Lashed tent to bottom of my REI 85 LT pack and worked just fine. Would recommend some ground hog tent stakes for strength and weight. Ground cloth came in handy and was lite enough. Purchased two.

Great deal

I've used it several times

It's true what other reviews may say, it doesn't have the most venting options for muggy, rainy nights. However the severity of that flaw certainly depends on the region and the way you'll typically be using the tent. For a weekend-use car camping tent in and around Utah, I haven't and don't expect to notice an issue. Other than that, it's a bargain.

Good durable tent

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great tent but I probably wouldn't take this on long back packing trip due to they way this packs down but has still served us well!

Terrible customer service

I've used it several times

This company is hard to get a hold of. My tent’s fly absorbs water instead of repelling it which soaks everything in the tent when it drips. I tried to get them to send me a new one but they want me to send mine in to be inspected and have a four week turn around time. Which means a month with no tent for me. The bag also ripped. I tried to get a new bag and they want me to pay $15 for a bag I think should be sent for free. I’ll return the tent and get something from a brand like big Agnes or nemo who actually name quality tents, not a clothing company that decided to make one day.

So sorry to hear about your experience. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at 801-523-4058 so we can help

Ding dong diddly dang.

I love Marmot gear and have been rocking it for 20+ years. I ordered this tent as a great priced setup for travelling and spots where a hammock is impractical. Weird bit is that it wasn't til i went to marmot's site and started reading the reviews on this tent that i decided to return it. reviewers echoed the same problem... no venting, condensation is everywhere and the only way to vent it is to open the fly and expose yourself to wind and rain. The tungsten is a suspiciously similar tent with a vented rain fly. it cost a bit more...equivalent to the cost of stitching a vent into the fly.

10/10 would recommend

I've put it through the wringer

Awesome tent for the price. Keeps water out, decently lightweight, looks cool (to me), and is roomy with two people (I'm 6' 3"). I would buy it again at the full price, but at the current sale price - it's a steal. After finishing this review I will be texting my friends to buy this one.
