- Q & A
This product is described as a shell yet the Tech Specs lists an insulation (Thermal R the same insulation in the Edge Insulated pant). How do these two products differ and is the Burnout pant truly a shell?
Hey there Pete!
It looks like we didn't update the product information correctly!
This item has 60 grams of thermal R 60 Gram Insulation which it looks like the edge pants have as well
The boy's edge insulated pants from Marmot have removable suspenders, the fabric is a bit thicker and does not stretch
I talked to Marmot, well I tried.... they weren't very helpful and only informed me the main difference is the suspenders but the fabric is a bit heavier I think in the burnout as well!
You can read more about that insulation here
