I've been searching for a perfect flannel for the last couple of years as my previous favorite ones wore out/fell apart. I'm very particular so it's been a search! This one is pretty good. I really like the fit - shapely but not form-fitting, still room to move. Not boxy and not oversized. I ordered a large. I'm 5'5" and about 170, with wider shoulders and a "rounded torso." I wear anywhere from M-XL, depending on the type and brand of top, but I always think I should be a large, and this fit as I thought it should. However, my chest is 36B, and if it was larger, an XL would have been necessary. It's definitely mid-weight, a lighter mid-weight if that makes sense, perfect for everyday wear or layering under something. I got the claret, and my only (slight) disappointment is I thought it would be more red - a primarily red, navy, and white flannel- but it's more burgundy, pink, and navy. I'm not a fan of light or dusty pinks, but it's OK. It's only noticeable up close and makes it look feminine.

I had been looking for a flannel like this for quite some time, and after ordering it in the Arctic Navy, I was really excited to break it out for the cooler autumn weather. To my disappointment, the shirt tore at the cuff, right where the buttons are, after only my second wear. I expected better quality from Marmot. Pretty upset about this.

Love this shirt. Super soft and comfy, great color and design. I ordered a small and a medium because I wasn't sure which would fit better. The small fit well everywhere but the chest. I'm a size 6 but have a DD chest. There was just a bit too much pull at the buttons. But everywhere else looked tailored and nice. Ended up going with the medium. It fit better in the chest. It's a little bit more roomy in the torso but still looks cute.

I wore this shirt multiple times during my camping trip last week. It's very flattering and the perfect weight for layering over a t-shirt or under a fleece vest. I liked that the buttons made it easy to take on and off during those breezy afternoons when you're body temperature could go either way.

Love it!

Fit, color, weight of this shirt all fit me perfectly. Marmot's medium size sometimes is a little snug on me, so I appreciate the reviewer who said this shirt runs a little large. I purchased a medium. I am 5'6", 140 lbs, 36B. I wear a medium in all tops/sweaters/ jackets. The medium fits perfectly - length, sleeve length with arms extended, ability to button up over hips and bust. Material is very soft. Colors are vibrant and just as pictured.

Turtledove color for the win! Love the fit: I'm 36-29-39 and love the Medium for a slightly relaxed and flattering fit. It has soft supple fabric. Ample room in my shoulders and upper arms for full movement. I adore the colors and lines! This is my first non-plaid flannel and it is way overdue. Lastly, the Turtledove striping specifically has a versatile look that can be worn with jeans or corduroys for a NW autumn look OR paired with black pants, silky scarf, and dainty jewelry for a little more Euro feel OR could easily be used as an outdoorsy/work shirt in my seasonal outdoor jobs

I like that this flannel comes in a non-pink or purple option, unlike a lot of ladies flannel shirts. The material is just OK; I'm not impressed with the quality (it's already showing some wear after about 8 washes and air drying. I have long arms so I have difficulty finding shirts that aren't short on me. Unfortunately these arms are a bit short. Since it's a lightweight flannel I just roll the sleeves up since I'm using it to keep toasty. Other than the sleeves, it runs true to size.

I initially loved these shirts until I got embarrassed when the buttons accidentally opened up by themselves during a meeting. I may have gained a little weight, but not enough for the buttons to be protruding, which is why I thought it was odd that this shirt (form-fitting) would malfunction this way. This shirt looks stunning and washes/dries well in the machine, but you'd probably need to order a size larger so that it doesn't rest directly against your body (otherwise, the buttons may open up the same).

This flannel is soft and perfect to wear for sun protection on a fall day. It’s breathable and you don’t get too hot but also provides enough warmth in the shade. I gave this to my girlfriend and she loves it. She’s 5’3” 128lbs and the small is the right fit.

I bought this for a camping trip and it was perfect! Not only did it keep me warm on the windy times, it kept the sun's UV rays off of me too! I would definitely recommend this to others. Runs a little big, but nice for layering without restrictive feeling.

I'm amazed that this shirt manages to both fit and be fitted, and to be flattering without being so much a woman's shirt it doesn't even look like a flannel. It does look like a flannel, and it doesn't look like I bought it at the mall nor like stole it from my boyfriend. I went with a larger size so the shirt would button in the front without pull, which I'd suggest to curvy women, but the shape of the shirt still shows a waist. I'm tall and I'm super excited that the sleeves are long and the shirt length was too.

this feels like a luxury clothing item. high quality, extremely soft and feels durable, although i've only worn it twice. it isn't too tight on my muscular arms, which is usually a problem when i buy flannels.

So excited to own my first flannel, but alas this one did not fit quite right in my shoulders. That being said most garments do not fit me in the shoulders, yet fit me in all other proportions. This one had extremely tight shoulders in particular. As a rock climber, broad shoulders and arms come with the territory, I normally am a Medium but have to get Larges to fit. I gave it to my friend Cait and it fit her perfectly in the shoulders, but was slightly long for her torso. She normally wears an extra small/small. She is 5' and I am 5'-3" We did both agree that it was super soft, and since she wore it for the weekend she said it was warm. I did notice 2 pulled threads after her second day of wear, so I think it would work for casual wear but would not hold up under rugged conditions.

I basically have a flannel collection - flannels for all days/emotions/needs. I just wore this one on a hike in the Adirondack mountains. I stripped off my nasty sweaty shirt at the summit and threw this on. There is NOTHING better than this soft (DRY!) shirt against my skin on a cold, windy mountain top. On the way back down, I got a little toasty and rolled up the sleeves which revealed the adoooorable corduroy detail on the inside of the cuffs. It's also a little more fitted, but not at all too tight. I'm 5'4, 125ish, athletic build (broad shoulders, small waist) and the small was spot on - fitted, but still mobile. Good length. Not too long to be annoying to layer and not so short that it rides up. It would easily transition to burgers and beers, too. I dig it. Just go ahead and treat yourself.
