    Indecisive Saturdays.

When you leave the house for coffee in the morning, you are unsure if you are going to head to the Farmer's Market or go for your favorite foothill hike—either way, you'll be prepared wearing the Marmot Bridget Midweight Flannel Shirt. With midweight flannel material, you get just enough warmth for fall mornings while the CoolMax EcoMade technology keeps you dry with its moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties in case you break a sweat on the trail. And although it's cool, it doesn't mean the sun isn't out, but thankfully the Bridget is equipped with UPF 50 sun protection since you forgot your sunscreen.

    Meh, it's OK

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I like that this flannel comes in a non-pink or purple option, unlike a lot of ladies flannel shirts. The material is just OK; I'm not impressed with the quality (it's already showing some wear after about 8 washes and air drying. I have long arms so I have difficulty finding shorts that aren't short on me. Unfortunately this has normal length arms so it's a bit short for me. Since it's a lightweight flannel I just roll the sleeves up since I'm using it to keep toasty. Other than the sleeves, it runs true to size.

    The buttons open up easily

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 160lbs

I initially loved these shirts until I got embarrassed when the buttons accidentally opened up by themselves during a meeting. I may have gained a little weight, but not enough for the buttons to be protruding, which is why I thought it was odd that this shirt (form-fitting) would malfunction this way. This shirt looks stunning and washes/dries well in the machine, but you'd probably need to order a size larger so that it doesn't rest directly against your body (otherwise, the buttons may open up the same).

cute flannel but small in breast

    • Size Bought: xl
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 210lbs

love the color and the feel of the fabric and the fit - except across the boobs. too much pulling over my b+ cups. a flatter chested gal would love this.

    comfortable flannel

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

This flannel is soft and perfect to wear for sun protection on a fall day. It’s breathable and you don’t get too hot but also provides enough warmth in the shade. I gave this to my girlfriend and she loves it. She’s 5’3” 128lbs and the small is the right fit.

    Good go-between summer and fall!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large

I bought this for a camping trip and it was perfect! Not only did it keep me warm on the windy times, it kept the sun's UV rays off of me too!
I would definitely recommend this to others. Runs a little big, but nice for layering without restrictive feeling.

    Best of Both Worlds

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 190lbs

I'm amazed that this shirt manages to both fit and be fitted, and to be flattering without being so much a woman's shirt it doesn't even look like a flannel. It does look like a flannel, and it doesn't look like I bought it at the mall nor like stole it from my boyfriend. I went with a larger size so the shirt would button in the front without pull, which I'd suggest to curvy women, but the shape of the shirt still shows a waist. I'm tall and I'm super excited that the sleeves are long and the shirt length was too.

    insanely comfy

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

this feels like a luxury clothing item. high quality, extremely soft and feels durable, although i've only worn it twice. it isn't too tight on my muscular arms, which is usually a problem when i buy flannels.

    Another great shirt for MTB

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 200lbs

Wife uses this to ride on cold morning or afternoons. Soft feel, great style and keeps her warm!

Perhaps Cait Will Like it Better

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 140lbs

So excited to own my first flannel, but alas this one did not fit quite right in my shoulders.

That being said most garments do not fit me in the shoulders, yet fit me in all other proportions. This one had extremely tight shoulders in particular. As a rock climber, broad shoulders and arms come with the territory, I normally am a Medium but have to get Larges to fit.

I gave it to my friend Cait and it fit her perfectly in the shoulders, but was slightly long for her torso. She normally wears an extra small/small.

    She is 5' and I am 5'-3"

We did both agree that it was super soft, and since she wore it for the weekend she said it was warm.

I did notice 2 pulled threads after her second day of wear, so I think it would work for casual wear but would not hold up under rugged conditions.

Perhaps Cait Will Like it Better

I want it in every color.

I basically have a flannel collection - flannels for all days/emotions/needs. I just wore this one on a hike in the Adirondack mountains. I stripped off my nasty sweaty shirt at the summit and threw this on. There is NOTHING better than this soft (DRY!) shirt against my skin on a cold, windy mountain top. On the way back down, I got a little toasty and rolled up the sleeves which revealed the adoooorable corduroy detail on the inside of the cuffs. It's also a little more fitted, but not at all too tight. I'm 5'4, 125ish, athletic build (broad shoulders, small waist) and the small was spot on - fitted, but still mobile. Good length. Not too long to be annoying to layer and not so short that it rides up. It would easily transition to burgers and beers, too. I dig it. Just go ahead and treat yourself.

    Soft and great fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'7"

Great quality and great fit. The cut is flattering, not boxy at all, but loose enough to be really comfortable.

    Killer flannel

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 145lbs

This shirt was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a flannel that could do double duty as a cute shirt to wear out & to put through the ringer outside (hiking, etc.) - the fit is great and the material is light (love the sun protection layer), all while being a very flattering shirt. Hope to buy in other colors!

    Comfy, warm, and great fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this flannel for my sister in the dead of winter, and she loves it! The flannel is incredibly soft, and thus far it seems to be pretty durable, so here's hoping it lasts a long, long time. She's 5'7" with broad shoulders, so a medium is a great relaxed fit, and it looks like great buttoned or unbuttoned on her. She's also a full-time carpenter, and so far this has held up really well in her physically demanding line of work. Her only complaint about it (and most other women's flannels) is that it's just not as thick as men's flannels.

    Love this flannel!

I bought this Marmot Bridget Flannel because I wear my Marmot Evelyn button-up shirt both to work and around town constantly. I think I like the Bridget flannel even better! Nice length and feminine fit, quality material. Neither of the two Marmot button-ups gap at the bust either, which is a constant problem with other brands, despite my average bust line (36C). This is a comfortable and flattering shirt I will be wearing all fall and winter.

    Love this flannel!

    Perfect!

I am a climber & have broad shoulders, but an otherwise small upper body. I've had a hard time finding button down shirts that are broad enough in the shoulders & long enough in the arms, while still fitting reasonably well in the torso. This is it! Thank you Marmot for considering that your female customer has an athletic build.

      Great UPF shirt

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: XS
      • Height: 5'7"
      • Weight: 120lbs

I bought this shirt because I was in need of a long sleeve button-up with UPF protection to hike in & use around the house. The Ocean color is very rich & the cut is more feminine than you typically get with UPF shirts. The material is not as thick or brushed like I would typically expect from a flannel, but it works well for being more active.

      Thin Flannel - slim cut

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium
      • Height: 5'11"
      • Weight: 145lbs

I'm 5'11, and have a hard time finding flannels with sleeves long enough for my arms. This flannel is cute, stylish, and the sleeves are long. I don't put it in the dyer, to avoid shrinkage, and it has kept its length. The cut is slimming, and I can also button it across my chest. Another issue I have with most flannels is that they pull across my chest unless I buy a size bigger than I would in other shirts. I love flannels, and have tried several brands. This one is thin fabric, not particularly soft, but nice, and it keeps its shape. I'm very happy with it.

I'll end up wearing this shirt to work and then straight to the trail. It's not a super heavy flannel and perfect for a layer when you're out riding in the spring or fall. It does fit slightly big but I don't mind since I like a little room in this type of shirt since I am typically riding my bike or hiking in it.
