Pants for the year
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants when I put them on felt very comfortable. Move the way I moved and lightweight. You wouldn’t think the pants were durable when feeling them firsthand but they were up to the task. Can be worn for casual wear, work pants, and great for a rainy day with the water resistant material.

Great Hiking Apparel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants are made from nylon type material. They are pretty noisy when you walk but do perform well to cool and keep you dry. My son is 6’7” and I was concerned about the length but these do hit him at the ankles. If you are shorter, they may need alteration. The pants feel well made and durable. I like the pocket with a zipper to keep things from getting lost.

Good fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Got these pants for my boyfriend who is an avid hiker. He’s hiked all three major US trails. He says he doesn’t like the fabric but the fit is good.

Not the same pant …
Have owned several pair of these pants in the past. Latest model has a much higher waist, lacks a zippered side leg pocket, and the other pockets are too shallow to store/hold anything.

Going downhill
Different than the previous. No more zipped pocket. Material feels different. Not nearly as good as the old ones.

Terrible
Waist (as other say) is 2 inches higher. You have to pull these to your belly button to fit. Absolute trash. Had older versions for years. Will search out a new brand.

I bought this pair thinking they were the same pants I bought a year ago. They are not. Th waist is inches higher. These are unwearable

My Go To lightweight backpacking pant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for warm or cool, not cold weather. Could use more than one secure pocket.

Awful! Just awful!
I wonder who runs Marmot nowadays!! Seems like lately anything I order is either poor quality or horrible fit. In the case of these pants, I ordered 3 pairs, one in each color. I couldn’t believe how tight the waist was and how awkwardly the inseam felt. As if they just designed this without actually trying it on a human! Returning ALL 3 pants. So disappointed in Marmot.
