This wind jacket it really awesome! First, it is super light, and you will be able to fit it anywhere and without a problem. Second, it does keep you warm. However, it isn't all super breathable. Third, I don't live in a very cold place with a lot of wind, so this review might not help those who are in really cold and windy areas, but it does help to protect from the wind. I have yet to try it out when there is a strong wind current, but my guess is that if the wind is fast enough, it won't be much help because it is so thin, and a different jacket may do a better job. However, I am not saying this from experience, I'm just guessing, so don't take my word completely.
I also wanted to mention how great BackCountry is. My package didn't come in when it was supposed to, I waited a couple days, and it still didn't show up. I looked it up, and the shipping company said that it was delivered a couple days before, but it never showed up. I called Back Country, somebody talked to me right away, and the problem was solved! It was super easy, they sent me a new package, and it was a pleasant experience, totally worth waiting a couple extra days to receive my package. Thank you!

There are a hundred lightweight, packable, water resistant running jackets out there but I chose this one because it had a little extra style. It's great for a cool morning run or walk with my boys on a drizzly spring day. The elastic hood is a great technical feature that is really comfortable when running. One drawback is the lack of ventilation. I wish it had one of those mesh vents across the back or at least some armpit holes.
That said great jacket for the price.
Does this have any ventilation holes like the trail wind hoody?
